Very tasty, not oily yet surface crispy. Found 2 tiny shrimps though not that yummy. Owner is humble and polite! Thank you.

Underrated chai tow kuay compared to the nearby Chey sua. The carrot cake here is served in huge slabs and it's crispy on the outside! Their carrot cake comes with prawns which I feel it is not needed.

For $4, this simple white carrot cake is delicious. The amount of egg on the carrot cake is oooh perfect. It has prawns. The stall closes every Wednesday.

A true gem hidden at a corner in TPY, Braddel side ❤️❤️ This is my all time fav, slightly edging past the 618 Yishun carrot cake. ???? Lots of egg, small fully peeled prawns (which is good for fried carrot cake) and lastly, its cooked to perfection with the crispness in every bite ??? For me, this is the best in ?? ?? Update: renamed to Toa Payoh 111 still as good!

Carrot cake stall has been taken over by a younger owner around 3 or 4 years ago. The older uncle has since sold off and retired. I prefer the older uncle's version of thr carrot cake, which is more consistent in the taste and did not taste too moist since it was handmade. The new uncle uses factory made, which I find too moist. The prawns have also evolved to become shrimps since I first started patronising them years ago

nice!! $3/4/5/?? options. 加辣 for a good time. prawns in the carrot cake are de-shelled and de-tailed. very worth in my opinion. the prawns are also the crispy crunchy kind. only white carrot cake, but what other carrot cake do u need

Very nice carrot cake, savoury, and great taste. Very crispy outside and soft inside. Comes with 2 prawns that are fully de-shelled too!

The kuey is very moist and tender. The eggs are cooked just nice; crisp without being dry. There are 2 crystal prawns which I felt didn't elevate the taste. Preserved radish was not evident. I would love a spray of fish sauce. Very good carrot cake nonetheless. I believe he only offers the white version. Friendly owner and he has his own following. The queue moves pretty fast.
