★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been buying from this stall because it’s on the way to my kid’s school. Today I ordered half a chicken for takeaway. I noticed the guy took chicken breast & one drum stick to chop. I was wondering is that for someone else? But there’s no body queuing behind me or any grab food delivery guy. Then he pretends to take half a chicken from the display area. As I can’t see the area he was chopping. And I was given my takeaway. And I saw he returned the half chicken back to the display! ??? I checked my takeaway. Lots of chicken breast and thigh part missing! Most of the roast chicken skins also missing! The point of eating roast chicken is the skin! ???Will not buy from this stall again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ $4.80 for this pathetic portion. There's a option for $3.50 or $4.80. This looks more like $2 chicken rice. Zero stars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have eating from this stall monthly for about 2-3 years. Consistency was pretty good for first 2 years. Even friend who ate it for the first time said it's good, especially the chilli and rice. My previously last few times were pretty let down..Rice not flavorful at all. Just oily rice with seasoning. Lack the flavour of old ginger, chicken fats and pandan leaves which give the rice its distinctive flavour. The gravy mixture of soya sauce and sesame oil for the chicken was the only thing I like, other than the chilli. Price has increased as well as expected..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Average price 3.8 for a plate of chicken rice.
The roast chicken rice is very black...
So when you remove the chicken off the rice. You see a whole patch of black oil on the rice....
Rice is a bit... Like white rice only.
Chicken is smashed, to look like flatten .. so like a bit more serving.
Could be a lot better I guess.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was wondering where to go for late lunch on a Sunday.Headed to the coffeeshop at 111 Lorong 1 Toa Payoh. Haven't been there for a while. Looks like few stalls had change. Decided to try the chicken rice which is run by by different people. They have porridge and nodle ? too. Paid $8.50 for 2 plates of chicken rice with one tau kwa.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chicken rice was average. Chicken meat which is supposed to be the star of the dish is flattened by the large chinese chopper in order to spread the meat and give the illusion of a generous serving. Definitely not as generous as I would like. More like primary school canteen serving or maybe just nice for a professional model on a diet. Some bones are ok. Still acceptable for a quick snack.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reasonable price for normal chicken rice $3.8 each pack. Rice is bit overcooked and soft and chicken is too thinly sliced and lack flavor. Overall an average Hainanese Chicken Rice. This stall allow you to redeem SG voucher.
