I went to visit this shop with my 2 sons because we were curious about this shop. We did our safe entry and were all wearing masks when we entered. As we began to take a look around the shop, we were initially amazed by the antiques they had from the yesteryear. Then this old man asked us what we are looking for. So I told him that we are just browsing to see if there is anything interesting to buy. What he said next shocked me. He said to me and my sons that there is nothing but rubbish in his shop. If we don’t have anything to buy, then leave. I was flabbergasted and asked him point blank if he was the owner. He said no. He demanded to know what we were looking for and said he will show us. So I told him that I wouldn’t know what to buy if I didn’t see what was in his shop . I showed my wallet and told him that I had money. I was a serious buyer. He told me that I shouldn’t be browsing in his shop if I didn’t know what to buy and that I should leave. He even told us that we shouldn’t be doing this during COVID. I reminded him that we were masked up and that we had complied with the safe entry . He didn’t care and asked us to leave. I am appalled by this old man’s behaviour. Please don’t ever visit this shop. You will just get scolding for nothing. To the owner of this shop. If you treat your customers like that, don’t bother opening.

The old man was very rude. Told us to come back another day and there’s nothing to see when we said we were taking a look and see what is there. Most probably he just doesn’t want to entertain locals because there were other people in the store and they didn’t look like a local and he didn’t say anything to them. Do not go in because there’s no point in getting ranted at by an old man or go in knowing what you want to buy.

I thought that the shop here had meaning to each product ! Furniture looks particularly good as second-hand. The clerk is repairing at the back. The shopkeeper was very kind and cheap to me. The product was safe because you packed it ! One item has been added to my life. I appreciate it very much !

Very interesting find, as though you walk into museum or shop full of curio that you only get to see in Hollywood movie. Remind me of harry potter diagon alley or the sorcerer's apprentice kinda of feel this place is full of curios and antique. Any piece from this shop can easily be the centre piece of your house display.

Stepped in to show my friends from out of town what a gem of an antique shop this is. Guy inside shooed us away and said we weren’t welcome to browse. Seriously why open your shop if you aren’t willingly to have people come in and take a look?! The next uncle that walked in was accepted into the shop without question despite him stating exactly the same as us, just taking a look! More judgemental than a LV store!

Never met a ruder old man, if you want to feel unwelcome and insulted for no good reason, this is the place to come to! I was speaking to some non singaporean friends in English, the man started scolding me "banana" and for not speaking mandarin, and scolded my friend for looking at his stuff.

A true treasure trove. Don’t listen to the grumpy reviews. ‘ Uncle ‘ was lovely, invited us in, rushed around turning on lights and fans. Bought a great wooden parrot and an antique temple guardian. Immediately almost halved the price. Which was already pretty fair I thought, especially for Singapore. Then showered us with free gifts. Little pieces but very thoughtful. Spent ages wrapping the statue in bubble wrap ready for the plane. Even made a stand for the parrot while we looked around upstairs. A great start to our day. Recommended.

Visited the shop, was a treasure cove. The uncle did ask what we’re looking for but still free to browse! I was just being careful of his goods. After browsing for 10 mins, I found a beautiful seiko watch. The uncle honestly told me it’s not working and he doesn’t know how to open the clasp which is kind of him. Overall happy experience.
