Booked a trip with family (6 pax) to maldives, fun island resort. The manager we talked to was nice & even write down everything that was said. Receipt also had everything but end up when we reached the resort, we were given a room without wifi and TV when we had booked 2x entertainment beachfront room (3pax per room with extra bed). When we called back to clarify, they lied to us that the entertainment room can only fit 2 pax per room even though the resort staff told us otherwise and said our agent booked the non entertainment room. Supposed to get free canoeing and free wind surfing as well but after coming here they inform us that we need to pay US$100 per person for "training" before they let us use the free canoeing and wind surfing for 1 hour each. This was already resort’s rules but agency hid from us. We feel very cheated as the trust has been broken and pretty much we have nothing out of the Natas fair deal. We were told the canoeing and wind surfing are free only because of the Natas fair but end up cheated. Resort was nice to us, this agency isn’t trustworthy & is a bad company. Push responsibilities everywhere and end up giving you a frustrating experience. Will never deal with this agency again. For reference, the manager was Kunjan and the agent handling was Eng Loke.

Very bad experience! Do not go with this agency. Absolutely terrible. Agreed itinerary is completely different from confirmed itinerary, which was only issued after payment. Did not bring us around to famous tourist and scenic spots. We were promised a local five star hotel but it was a local three star hotel. Frequent blackouts and power outage at night. Ridiculous considering the hot summer weather (up to thirty five degrees Celsius). Power maintainence in the middle of the night. Poor service and rude staff when questioned. We were told to leave the lobby when we were seated at the lobby. Definitely was not a five star hotel. Tour guide told us that the shopping centre closed at 12.30am and the taxi driver told us that it actually closes at 10pm! Tour bus was dirty, small, cramped, old and unsafe. Had to place our luggage on seats. Caused body rash. Paid $888 per person but was expected to pay for all the entrance fees ourselves. Other similar tour groups only paid $388!! Ludicrous!! Completely dishonest tour agency. Jason Shi, the General Manager of the China Division was in charge of our trip. Beware!

My travel experience to Taiwan for the 7D6N High-Speed Railway Experience Tour from 1-7 Oct 2016 through this travel agency managed by Derrick Yeo was good. This guy was responsive and the tour was valued for money. The Taiwanese tour company and tour guide were responsible and friendly, and took care of our travel safety especially after the recent powerful typhoon. Even my one day extended stay in Taipei and pick up time to the airport was well arranged and punctual. Thumb up!!

I would like to thank Manager Matthew Ong for being so patient and helpful throughout the process of singing up for the tour. Even on non-working days he will pick up my call and explain the tour details to me. He has made immense efforts to make my travel run smoothly and i appreciate it a lot for his hard work. I highly recommend my friends to sign up tours from travel star.

Booked a tour package for Korea. Thanks to Yuki for the prompt responses and helping to get the visa in time for the trip. The tour itself was quite smooth sailing. Hotels were generally okay and the food places could be a little more varied. Services were good and friendly overall.

Dishonest travel agency. They will not honour the promises ie. Hotels, itineraries they have made after signing up the packages with them. Avoid at all cost.

The lady Shirley will quote a higher price after you have signed the travel package claiming they have found different hotels and airport tax has increased tremendously etc. When you requested her for the proof of these increases, she was unable to produce. Dishonest and unprofessional.

My mistake for not going through the reviews before taking up the package. All the promises of 5 stars hotels, free entrance, international buffets did not materialized. They tried to cover their lies with other lies.
