Writing this unsolicited letter of recommendation was my pleasure. Thomson Renovation was the general contractor in 2014 on the inside of my HDB Flat for a home improvement project. While major renovations are inherently stressful for almost any homeowner, their services have been invaluable as a general contractor, and I am extremely pleased with the final result. Work quality was consistently top notch. Project manager used subcontractors in their respective trades who were experienced, qualified and professional. They were aware of following project specifications and rarely needed refinements for their work product. Work quality was professional, reliable, courteous, and respectful of the property and privacy of the homeowner. Their pride was evident in their work. At the end of each working day, they tidied up to ensure that site visits were conducive and safe. Effective and planned project management and coordination. Monitoring the details from beginning to end. Strong organisational skills and commitment to follow-through are assets that made it possible for the team to juggle the details of our project without missing a beat. The team's strength was operating within the negotiated budget. During the escalation of renovation costs of unforeseen events, alternative solutions were always offered. During the final phase of the project I was satisfied with the handling of the funds.

The team had a brilliant understanding of what I liked and didn't like and made the most of my budget to make our home a lovely home. For the price I am really pleased with the quality of workmanship and materials, compared to the past few renovations I have had. Throughout quotation request, measurement visit, quotation questions, the staff assigned to my request was very passive and came across as uninterested in the business. If they cannot deliver service for a "minor project" as they called mine, I Will Not Recommend them for a "major project", or any project... Note that this is the same company as Home Reno Pte Ltd.
