Have been eating this store for quite some time..I think food standard is dropping. Ayam peyent is now a bit more dry and also the curry portion seems too little now. Always not enough to fully gravey the rice(Additional curry cost more). Menu also need to update. Two chicken wings set is always not available (which I don't understand why!). If not selling anymore, please remove it.

My go to place for Ayam penyet. They have a variety but I always can't bring myself to order anything else. Their Ayam Penyet is just too good. So far I've ate there and dabao more than 10+ times, never received any sort of attitude from either the Chinese cashier Aunty or the Malay staff. From what I gathered, the 0.50 cent for extra chili due to the cost for the container. I've tried adding directly to the rice itself and it wasn't charged ?? Be nice and greet the Aunty la you guys ?? Update Aug 16, 2021. Checked with the stall, the 0.50 cent for extra chili is not charged for dine in!

Not the best nasi kukus penyet I ever had in my dictionary, but probably one of the most notable in Pasir Ris.. The sambal wasn't that fragrance in my opinion.. Value deal...

I had steam chicken with brown rice , service wise is good from the workers . They are friendly but not the boss, the boss is a Chinese owner non Muslim employed Muslim workers, unfortunately she only speaks mandarin when I tried to communicate with her, she not that friendly and had a stuck up face . The business about 5years . Ok back to the food, no standard at all. Brown rice so smashy, steam chicken tasteless no marination at all even they have a big part of the chicken but tasteless, really tasteless, their chillies no match at all with the steam chicken. My conclusions go and buy steam chicken rice from the Chinese stall way much better than eating steam chicken from this stall. For ayam penyek I dare not try after I alreday tasted the steam chicken with no taste at all in the meat, marination is very important to have a good chicken flavours. This is my own opinion ya, so for this , I only give 1 star ⭐

Bought the ayam penyet and ayam panggang (more expensive on foodpanda even with the pick up option) and the ayam panggang is just average. Sauce is nice but rice is very dry and had hard crusts on them. The sambal is good; not spicy at all but would have preferred something spicier. Ayam penyet was nicer.

Fried chicken is tender with lots of fried chicken bits, complementing the taste. A pity that the stall is left with only 2 dishes at 8+pm for us to choose despite the variety shown on their menu board. Next time to try others ?

The food here is surprisingly good. What stood out the most is the portion of the chicken; They are generous with the size of the chicken, hope it remains this way. The size of the chicken is bigger as compared to most Ayam Penyet places. The set comes with rice as mentioned on the menu below. Service is just as fast despite having to serve orders collected by delivery riders waiting to collect. Also kudos for treating them nicely, reminding the riders to double-check their orders. I like that they provided sauce and chilli in smaller separate containers for takeaways, easier to make hot if I choose to eat it at a later time. I also like that they provided curry gravy such that the rice is not dry. One star missing for charging the extra chilli (at 50 cents each tub) and not separating the chicken from the rice for takeaway.

Get the set no. 15 ayam penyet with bakso, it is incredibly good! The bakso is the perfect balance of starch and beef, mixed into a rubbery yet rich juicy meat ball. The beef broth is quite common Indo street style, nostalgic and tasty. The chicken looked misleadingly dry and tough but as you bite into its tender white flesh, the softness of the fried meat feels like biting into yummy soft cotton candy. The generous crunchy fried starch added onto the skin makes every bite of the rice so eventful that you almost only start at the chicken after finishing the rice! The sambal is sedap and lives up to the standard of the other parts of the dish. You can feel the scalp prickling immediately as the sweet and sour chilli sauce assaults your taste buds with a kaleidoscope of rich sensations.
