Fins & Feathers - 110 Pasir Ris Central

The food is average but I only can comment for the fish and Chip which is what I ordered. First off, upon receiving my fish and Chip, I was totally not impressed at the portion and plating. I was hoping the fish would be the savior and impressed me. To be honest, the fish tastes normal, something that you can find in any Coffeeshop, definitely not worth the price that this place is charging and the long wait. The fish does not have the tenderness or juice when you bite into it. It just taste like normal fish. Since it is fried, you don't expect the fish to be very fresh but the fish here is really too normal and don't have the 'wow' factor. The size of the fish is rather pathetic as well as shown in my picture. Maybe they are young Hawker so my expectations for them should not be so high but there is really a lot of room for improvement. For such long wait for the food, I would recommend elsewhere to get your cravings.

I had chicken and fries. The foods were over crispy and burnt. Obviously not good for health. Once is more than enough.

Having eaten at a few places for fish & chips, Fins & Feathers delivers one of the best battered fishes. Portions are great and the meal is affordable. The quality is always consistent and reliable. They provide 4 choices of fish for your selection. I will definitely return to try the premium option, Barramundi.

Pretty decent portion and taste. The dory they use is of good quality and i like how they added apples into their coleslaw which gives it a nice tangy feel.

Was kinda hungry and saw this stall no queue so Qi Kua Mai (Try the dish)! Waited 10+mins before the dish was ready. Ordered the Signature Roasted Chicken Leg because indicated "Signature" and price is cheap ? Damage: $6.20 The protein was huge! Crispy skin with a savoury sauce drizzle over the dish. Meat was tender and moist on the inside. But after awhile, the skin became soggy due to the sauce that's drizzle over. Personally the crispy skin is my pull factor. Suggest that sauce place on plate 1st before placing the protein skin side up. Overall, definitely price worthy!

Short queue on a Friday evening and food took around 10 mins to be cooked. Quite a decent size fish for the price paid (10.80 for specialty fish and chips) and comes with fries that are well cooked as well as salad on the side.

Ordered the recommended roasted chicken leg. Asked to swap the coleslaw for other side but was rejected. Not sure if they even wash the veggies or just order from wholesale, so I generally leave coleslaw alone. The chicken was cut thinly, normally done so that the middle could be cooked while the exterior will not be burnt. As you can see from the photo they did burn the exterior. Poorly grilled for a recommended dish. The tendon was not removed as well, poor preparation. The price was $6.80, quite pricey for low quality hawker centre food, and especially with so much better choices. If you can wait, just queue for Wild Olives a few stalls away. *Edit reply to vendor - nothing personal, your trained staff was the one who rejected changing the side, hence maybe they should pay attention to your menu. My point is other western stalls in the same level price the same dish cheaper, and offer bigger portions which are also better grilled and prepared.

Had the grilled chicken chop. Well grilled with crispy skin and tender meat. Unfortunately, the meat lack enough seasoning so it was quite bland. Fries were great and crispy. Price was ok.
