Absolutely horrible customer service. Requested to speak to a banker and was told to wait for one to come back from lunch. Sure i came back an hour later and still none was around. I was then told to wait inside and this time i waited 2hrs only for the receptionist to inform me that no one will be free that day. Will not recommend patronising this branch if time is precious to you.

11th May Tuesday - I Would Like To Commend & Thank Den Ho ( Branch Manager ) & Ellenor Co Beng ( Customer Service Manager ) For Taking My Complaints Seriously & Looking Into The Matter. Den Ho Was Very Friendly & Pleasent & Called To Apologise On UOB's Behalf. He Also Took The Trouble To Identify The Individuals Concerned & Informed Them Of Their Actions. I Want To Officially Thank Him. ---------------------------------------------- Was At The UOB Parkway Branch At 4pm ( Monday 3rd May '21 ) Totally A Horrible Experience At The Front End. Tried To Get Some Information ( Re Fixed Deposit ) Before Taking A Queue Number But The " Girl " ( I Shall Not Dignify Her Presence By Giving Her A Better Term ) Was Totally Rude & Indifferent - Barely Answering Our Queries Or Even Looking Up. In Addition Her Answers Were Always Curt !!! I Would Like To Put This On Record - So She Can Be Better Tutored- If She Does Not Like Her Job, Go & Find Another !!! She Should Definitely Not Be Put There, As Looking At Her & Talking To Her Spoils Your Day !!! In Addition The Security Guard At The Door Monitoring Safe Distancing Was Equally Moronic. I Know We Have To Maintain Safe Distancing & Precautions In These Troubled Times. However, He Was Rude & High Handed In His Approach - As If Wearing A Uniform Gave Him The Power & Dignity He Could Never Receive Any Other Way. I Have Never Broken Covid Precautions Since Day One - Because I Understand How Important & Difficult It Is To Keep Us All Safe. However, My Godmother & I Were Talking & Planning Our Course Of Action - ( Re Placing Of Fixed Deposit At The Bank. We Had Come From The Same House & He ( The Security Guard ) Witnessed Us Walking In Together. I Tried To Sit Near Her Just So She Could Hear ( She is A Little Hard Of Hearing ). He Said It Was Not Allowed So I Immediately Sat Away . I Then Lowered My Mask To Talk To Her So She Could Hear Me Better ( Mind You There Was No One Around Us At All ) He Immediately Came Up To Me & Threatened Me With Reporting To Management. I Did Not Make A Fuss As I Did Not Want To Create A Scene. However His High-Handed Way Of " Flaunting His Authority " Was Totally Ridiculous. Finally, After Some Time Our Queue Number Was Called. The Bank Officer ( Moon Ong ) Was Pleasent & Well Mannered. She Managed To Save An Otherwise Totally Deplorable Experience At Your Bank. Please Note - We Go Around Placing Fixed Deposits At Different Banks All The Time. This Has Been The Worst Experience Ever, & It Puts Us Off Investing Or Having Anything To Do With This Branch.

For a major bank, you run a terrible service. It's a bank run by two year olds. Have no idea how service can be so bad. (20min after I reached the counter just to deposit coins, other countries you don’t even need to enter the store it’s done from external machines deposited straight into your account, is this the Stone Age)

I think the service from the front desk is lousy. Not only she did not address the customer and explain the process of transaction. She even speak rudely to the customer. And she sounds like we are working for her. I think as a front desk, one should be polite.

I was preparing to open a bank account at the uob branch of parkway perade. The first sentence at the front desk asked me where I came from. I said Malaysia, I want to open a bank account. Then she had that kind of unwilling expression and his mobile phone was on and the TV was on. The machine questioned the spoken language as if I disturbed him, and then said that I would wait 2 hours and I said no problem, and then I began to question the company’s recommendation letter and asked me why there is no date or something. At the time, I explained that this was given by the company and I didn’t know. , And then I didn’t want to give me my number and kept emphasizing my letter and then always questioning it. I don’t understand this. Since there are such people in big companies, what’s wrong with opening an account in Malaysia?

I was there today 22/02/22 from 3:50pm to 4:30pm doing my Cashier's Order and all staff were very friendly, polite, helpful and professional right from the staffs manning the entrance, staff getting the queue number for me, staff passing me a form to fill up for the cashier order to the lady staff at counter 6 and the senior staff who handed me the completed Cashier's Order...all were so jovial.. thank you so much for the GOOD service!

Came in to do a simple FD deposit on a Thursday afternoon. Waited for > 3hrs, and still waiting! Asked an employee, and realised only 1 girl handling this service!! What kind of manpower scheduling??!!
