★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chance upon this stall selling Hainanese curry rice at upper boon keng food centre. They are located beside this stall selling traditional snacks. There was a long queue upon reaching there, there is at least 10 pax infront of me. Waited for about 15mins before it was my turn to order. Selection of dishes is quite limited, counted only about 8 dishes. Stall was operated by an elderly uncle, therefore do be patient.
Selected 3 dishes, chicken cutlet, braised cabbage and a sunny side up egg. The plate of hainese curry cost me SGD$3.60. Portion was quite generous. The curry rice comes with generous amount of curry. The braised cabbage was braised till very soft. Chicken cutlet's portion quite generous. It was flavorful and wasnt too dry. Apart from chicken, they do have pork and fish cutlet as well.
Overall, quite a decent hainanese curry rice that i would mind eating again.
