This Salon is full of nonsense and unprofessional. I'm previously their customer and my hair was ruined by them. They have three outlets and all their workers are foreigners mainly from China and Malaysia. Some holding work permits while some are S Passes. Not even one local worker did I seen in any of their three outlets and as such, I have reason to believe that they have used phantom workers in order to meet the quota for employing foreign workers. Very unfair to us Singaporean.

Had a haircut back in 26th December. Told the chinese hairdresser i just wanted a trim and she cut off at least two inches of hair. Most interesting part of the entire experience is that the whole time while she was cutting my hair, she didn't bother to adjust the seat. Can't even see how she cut my hair the whole time. When she was done, she showed me the mirror and say whether it's fine, I told her I can't see cause of the seat height. She told me to stand up to see. Worst of all, she ruined my hair by cutting my hair and segmenting my hair short and unevenly (she didn't use the conventional hair cutting techniques). I had to rush to another salon to fix my hair. Moreover, she didnt bother clearing the hair and you will have the cut hair on your face, body and head. No blowdrying to clear the hair!! WORST place to go for a haircut, visit at your own risk.

Absolutely terrible service. Asked to keep my fringe long and a regular layered cut and the stylist went to cut half my fringe off. Still had the cheek to ask me if it’s okay after violating my hair. Never coming back here again lol. Pretty sure most of their 5 star reviews are written by the stylists themselves.

Have been a repeat customer of Ustyle for years but writing this now to support their new location! Price has always been affordable, and Jane has always provided great services without any upselling whatsoever. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get an affordable yet professional haircut!

Cheaters alert! This review is on the Ustyle Japanese haircut. The outside sign prominently stated β€œHaircut for all” at $5. I walked in and gave $10 expecting change. The auntie returned me only $2 change and said it’s now $8 due to CNY period. There is nothing outside the shop stating price increase during CNY. This is pure Misrepresentation. Then I found out Super Scissors on level 2 still cutting at $6. No price increase at all. No wonder they have a queue and this Ustyle only got flies. Enough said.

Considering the last time I had a haircut was pre-covid, I knew I was way overdue for a haircut. I happened to be in this complex for a massage and figured why not stop by a salon before heading home. I read the reviews on here and it was mixed with either 5-star or 1-star ratings. This should’ve been a red flag but I took my chances anyway. Well, it was a pretty big mistake. It’s pretty difficult to butcher my hair but the hair dresser managed to do so, which in itself is quite impressive. I asked for a 1-inch trim but she ended up cutting off about 5 inches. Good thing I had a lot of length to begin with. I got a $15 haircut (no shampoo/wash) and the results evidently match the price. Additional star for not up selling me on anything. She looked insulted when I said the hair was uneven, but the sad part is, she didn’t know what or how to fix this. This was an acceptable standard to her so just beware.

3rd time cutting here was quite impressed that I did not use a reference photo just some description but the lady stylist managed to cut exactly what I wanted. It was slightly shorter than i expected but I still think it turned out great. So maybe for those very particular about hair length should emphasize it. Had blunt medium long hair and did some layering. Total cut was only $15 which I find very affordable. Liked the service too as the lady stylist is always friendly. Overall really satisfied, would visit again.

My "go to" barber shop. It is awesome and it is just 5 bucks. The staff is quick and focused. Definitely a thumbs up ? from me. There are 2 U Style outlets located side by side. As you come in through the entrance of the mall, the one on the right (bigger, brighter and looks posh) - they would charge you a 'posh' price for a simple haircut. Look for the tiny U Style outlet that says "$5 for all". It is not fancy but gets the job done. The only qualm, the barber, she needs to clean her hands for hygiene purpose and also her equipment after each session.
