Very deceptive and dishonest (ValueLux Furnishing) at Thomson Plaza and Serangoon. Saw their advertisement @ $488 for a storage bed frame any choice of material. When I went down to buy, the $488 storage bedframe became $1,099 bedframe. First they quote and advertise price without GST and when you buy, they add 7% (hidden cost). Nobody in Singapore and no furniture shop quote prices pre GST. Then, when I choose a particular fabric, the price became add $199. Then, I choose a headboard preference, it became add another $299 / $399. In the end, the $488 became $1,099 + 7% = $1,175.93. When it came time to pay, “We only accept cash and paynow.” The invoice stated they accept all type of credit card. You may ask, why did I buy in the end? Its because I was desparate and needed the bedframe urgently and already spent the whole day shopping. I definitely would avoid these guy as too much hidden cost, deceptive advertising. Even the mechanism which they claim is from Germany is actually made in Singapore, China and Malaysia.

Easy to see at first sight the signage is big. Enter the sale staff give me a sweet smiling face and which after explain to me s I am first time buying for my new house . The showroom is big and we are happy with our purchase will recommend to my friends and relatives

Ordered a bed and the drawers came roughly done without wood laminate. Feedbacked to the shop and no apology was given, was informed that someone will be redoing the drawers without giving any approximate ETA, was told to just wait. Their beds are manufactured in Malaysia and you pay for what you get. Customer service and communication can be better.

Shoddy workmanship and poor quality of materials are used in the construction of the furnitures. Oversell but under-deliver. During the point of sale, they claimed premium grade material thus the price is 50% more than the market, etc. Mechanism from Europe / Germany, etc. “High quality material and construction, solid wood, etc” In the end, can’t expect much. Worst than Ikea quality, worst than China made (Malaysia boleh quality at Singapore premium shopping centre prices). No wonder they are hesitant to provide 10 years warranty unlike other furniture shops in Singapore. Don’t pay too much, don’t expect it to last!!

I bought a bed and mattress frm Valuelux. Product is good, customer service is good. Product is delivered on time as well. Worth to recommend.
