The silky carrot/ turnip cake is home made, and fried with egg to perfection. SGD 3.5 for a medium portion is a steal.

Yummy black carrot cake that’s not too sweet. Always order the largest portion. 10/10 would come again

Tried the white version with no chilli. The carrot cake base is left chunky and has no inherent taste, so its good if you don't like it too savoury. From the other 9 or 10 in her order record, I'm guessing the black version is more popular and tasty. I was the only one ordering the white version … ?

Average carrot cake in AMK. Won't go out of the way to eat.

Eggy white or black carrot cake, can choose to have chilli or without. Very traditional and no spring onions! Tried both but personally preferred the black as more flavourful, white is good but not as salty. Quite oily but that is why it's tasty. Comes in small, medium and large size, black costing slightly more for the medium size. Ordered medium for both the white and black. They cook in batches(white w/o chilli, black w/o chilli, white with chilli, black without chilli) so you can go shop in the market nearby then return to collect. The lady at the counter surprisingly can remember who orders what. Waited around 30 to 40 mins cus my first order was ready but the second order was cooked 3 to 4 batches later.

Their carrot cake are homemade, not bulk ordered from suppliers. Tried their white version and they used vegetable oil to stir-fry the carrot cakes, and probably resulted the texture, which was moist and soft. Chopped into random small pieces, theirs were very different from the usual factory made ones, which usually have some certain firmness to the carrot cakes. Overall it was not so bad, but I felt the carrot cake was quite oily and I personally don't like the chilli which tasted a but sourish.

菜油菜头粿 Tasty eggy fried carrot cake. If you are looking for fried carrot cake that is crispy, this is not meant for you. The stall owner prepares the carrot cake by herself. This is one of my favourite fried carrot cake stalls. However, I have not visited the stall for more than 6 months as there was a period where the carrot cake was too soft. I provided feedback to the stall owner back then. Decided to give it a try again and ordered the black fried carrot cake (S$3.50) and white fried carrot cake (S$3). Was glad that the carrot cake was firmer and tasted as good as before. The stall owner explained that she had bought a steamer months ago that improved the firmness of carrot cake. A stall owner that is proud of her food and continues to seek improvement. Be prepared to queue at times. My suggestion is to ask how long is the waiting time before you order the food, as the owner fries carrot cake by batches, i.e., with chilli and without chilli.

Had this for breakfast today. This is the $3 portion which was pleasantly-sized and not too heavy for a breakfast. The carrot cake is soft but firm, not the type that is mushy which is what i prefer, and also really flavourful. What i really liked was how much egg there was and how nicely fried the eggs were. Maybe better tasting when eaten freshly pan fried than packed.
