C	Caroline Tan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's not as conveniently located as other halls. No ATM or hawker centre or MRT station nearby. Unlike AJCH. Construction of high-rise sea facing side causing dusty environment.
L	Luke Phang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am living here at VH for 6 weeks and the conditions of everything is really good. Livable conditions. It is no 5 star hotel but everything you need is here. Not for spoilt brats but more than enough to survive.

A	AG on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Little care given to the boarders, facilities are always spoilt. This includes water dispenser, laundry facilities, and also showering facilities. There was once dirty, yellow water coming out of the shower head and water shortage is a frequent issue. Food is disgusting, i have never tasted food this disgusting and canteen staff is impolite. They often give small portions of food and grumble if we ask for slightly more. Food is always insufficient (runs out before the fixed time) and repetitive. Once, they served salad (basically just leaves and carrots) for almost 5 days in a week. All sorts of excuses arise when feedback is given to the office. Never felt so speechless and disgusted in my life.
W	Wen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely the worst experience out of 3 different hostels that i lived in. Food is terrible and to the extent whereby i developed health issues. Construction noise 224/7, faulty laundry facilities which left unfixed for long time. Hostel office is also very oblivious towards our requests and feedback. Canteen staff are all very impolite, small portion and unhealthy food. They even turned off the aircon in the study room in the name of COVID, while the hostel office has its aircon on throughout working hours (HYPOCRITES!). Honestly stay away from this hostel if you can, it’s definitely ur worst nightmare.
m	maia sy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ terrible experience! worst hostel i've ever stayed at. the facilities are run-down, poorly maintained and just horrible overall. one time, a curtain rod fell on me while i was asleep which is a testament to how little they care about boarders' safety. truly disappointing. i've never even bothered to try the food because it does not only look unappetising but borderline inedible. i hope they do better (but this is unlikely to happen given their track record...) i hope they change my mind). i would recommend other hostels such as hwa chong and acsi boarding :)
y	yuan 1 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible hostel. every few months water cuts out for the entire building. As a previous boarder I can say it was extremely poorly maintained. Suspect they never pay water bills because it happens so frequently. Food is also very bad and facilities are just bare minimum. If you have an alternative choice to staying somewhere else then I suggest you go there instead and save yourself the trouble.
a	ann on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ lived here as a boarder and this did not compare to my previous hostel in any way. pastoral care was bare minimum, facilities were meh, rooms were often very dusty. every morning there would be unbearable construction noise and rooms were not at all soundproof. the food was sometimes downright disgusting and canteen staff had terrible attitudes. even after complaining about all these there was barely any effort to improve based off the given feedback, if not no effort made at all. i guess the only good thing about it is the sunset view and the fact that they're lax with rules and stuff.
