β β β β β Food is tasty and authentic vietnamese flavours. The grilled fish platter was delicious and generous, mudskipper sour soup was fantastic but cockles are quite overpriced. A little disappointed because their online menu showed snail dishes which are not available, and many shellfish dishes are not available.

β β β β β Great experience here, wonderful service by the staff and lovely ambience. Food came promptly. Ordered the special pho - met with a burst of flavours from the beef broth, beef was generous and not chewy, and came with a side of half cooked egg! - perfect for a rainy day. The caramelised pork was good, but felt like the meat and eggs had not soaked in the sauces long enough as they were not as browned. Very tender and tasty nonetheless. The beef vermicelli was great, but because of the strong flavours from the other dishes, it could end up bland after awhile. Huge portion. Would come back and explore more dishes!

β β β β β Well I am no expert in Vietnamese cuisine but got to try a couple of things here and it came out great. The Hot Vietnamese milk coffee was really nice and also the spring roll was crispy and amazing in taste.
It is a sweet little cozy place.

β β β β β Awesome pho and friendly service. The regular beef pho was perfect, had the right amount of meat, broth, noodle and everything else for one person. The springroll was fresh and crispy. The lemon grass drink was quiet decent as well. All of it for a decent price and the best part is they are open till 5am. The person taking order was very friendly.

β β β β β Nice authentic Vietnam food with mixture of western grilled bbq /steak. Cozy ambience with Vietnam bar feel (my wife told me she was surprised that at one moment she really has the same feeling as when we visited one of the cafes at Hanoi). Plus point for the flexibility to mix the skewers to meet minimum 5 pcs. Egg coffee is a little too sweet for me.

β β β β β I have been going to Vietsea for the past five years. The restaurant has been renovated and has reopen after a short hiatus during Covid. The restaurant has also introduced a menu of western food but for me it will always be a Vietnamese restaurant. The chef is Vietnamese and he does a great job at cooking the best Asian cuisine which is Vietnamese however I am bias. Vietsea prices are a bit more than other Vietnamese restaurant on Joo Chiat Road however they are of a higher quality and trust me as I have been to them all. The chef makes many dishes that will go with a cold beer. Just come by for a visit and try it out for yourself. The beer is always cold and feel at home.
