Viknesh Dairy Farm

went with my bf today, $20 for both of us which we could pay with paynow as we didnt have cash. owners were pretty friendly, and guided us to the cows. we were also given quite a huge amount of grass to feed the cows with no limited duration. owners also told us that we could purchase their milk/yoghurt, which he also provided us with storage & reheating instructions for the milk ?? hygiene wise for the area where we would walk down to feed the cows, i would give it a 5/10 but its a cow farm so you can possibly expect it to be squeaky clean would recommend for a short trip to get up close to cows :-)

It's not a large farm, tried to visit and was quoted a paid farm visit of $20 for the family which was essentially overpriced. Not sure if that was standard as it seems like the person just thought of a price in his head. It's a pity and it will be good to see one of the dairy farm evolve into the same business model as the goat farm, which I am sure the goat farm is seeing the perk of its business being more educational for public.

My wife and I absolutely loved this place that we visited earlier today! We had so much fun admiring, feeding, and gently patting the cows up close ? This is a no-frills place which we didn’t mind at all, giving it a rustic and “raw” feel. The grass was literally freshly cut just for us to feed the cows! We checked beforehand via the contact available on the website that it would cost $20 per family for entrance and cow feeding, which I easily paid by PayNow transfer. The staff on site told us it was $10 per person, but it was all the same since it was just 2 of us anyway. You’re free to spend as much time as you want with the cows thereafter ? It’s great we didn’t have to jostle with any crowds at all too, giving is plenty of space. We even purchased 1L of fresh cow’s milk for $6 (you have to put this in the fridge within 1.5hrs and then boil it before eventually drinking it) and also 1L of fresh cow’s yoghurt (you can eat this straight away); both were yummy and obviously very fresh ? Highly recommended! Thank you for making our day ?

A basic exposure for kids to see where milk comes from and a different way of living. Got some grass to feed the cows. Milk and yoghurt available for purchase. But that is about it. The old gentleman who showed us around was really friendly.

I enjoyed my time here! There is a $10/person entrance fee, and the guy cuts some grass and lets you spend however much time you want feeding and petting the cows. Do not expect this to be the same as other highly commercialised farm, as they are different and operate differently. Be careful handling the grass, you might get minor paper cuts.

You can see cows and can touch them. This place is not visitors friendly. Seems they do not want visitors. $10 per adult without any receipt and not much to see or do is not really worth. They must encourage visitors and must have a framework to engage visitors. I hope they can read all these remarks and can make some drastic changes.

Not recommend is because not cost worthy. $10 per adult but nothing much you can see and nothing much you can do. We stay here only 15 mins because nothing can see. The owner also seems not that friendly as well…

The experience is authentically farm-messy! $10 for a pile of grass to feed the cows, yes it can get really wet and muddy in there. It’s not as commercially setup as Hays Diaries but you get a different flavour. Good exposure for young kids.
