β β β β β Tried it after rave reviews from a friend.
Delicious meal and I loved the karma drinks that went with it. They put real truffle slices on the beef bowl! Only thing was that it was doused in too much sauce (too salty) but I mixed it with my friend's plain rice bowl and it was perfect.

β β β β β Easy to use reservation on their website.
Happy hours Asahi beef is good value for $7 per big mug. Portion is quite small but flavours are quite good. Upsized 1 truffle beef for $9.90 and it was 6 small slices. Can order 6pcs of salmon sashimi to make it a set - get to choose hot or cold green tea.
Service is friendly, hot or cold water is served free.

β β β β β First time trying out Waa Cow! Surprised at how tender their beef was, seasoning was also done right. Set was reasonably priced for such location and because it's quite secluded at night, there were lesser noise pollution and it's a good place to hang out.
Definitely will come back again to try their other bowl set and drinks option.

β β β β β Very delicious bowls of rice bowl. Price is a bit expensive and I hope that they can offer a bigger portion. I am not a big eater but it feels like kids meal. If the portion is bigger, it will be a perfect rice bowl. Situated at Marina One West wing, we came without reservation and was given outdoor seating, itβs really warm and quite unbearable. Fortunately after awhile indoor seatings become available. Inside is small with few seatings, so make sure u have your reservation next time.

β β β β β This is the first and last time I am coming to this restaurant. This is because I experienced terrible service.
Firstly, I found my reservation to be pointless as the staff told us βthere are many reservationsβ and their app had failed. Their reservation system is also highly ambiguous and does not mention which type of seats would be reserved-indoor or outdoor. Thus I was very disappointed when they could only give outdoor seats.
Secondly, the waiting time is horrendous. Given that it was New Years Eve, I did expect the wait to be long, but it was beyond all expectations. The waitress took 15 minutes to take an order, even though we had arrived at a time when there werenβt too many customers. I noticed that the staff were prioritizing serving their takeaway and delivery orders over the dine-in staff. (Attached photos show the orders) The food took 45 minutes to arrive. So the total amount of time we had to wait was ONE HOUR. This is really unacceptable.
Third, the food prep was slapdash and stingy. My partner ordered a wagyu bowl and I ordered a Mentaiko Chirashi. I couldnβt visually tell what was in my dish at first glance because mentaiko was spread over the ingredients. I suspect that they used more mentaiko to mask the fact that they replaced a lot of salmon and tuna sashimi with squid. My partner found the amount of beef to be too little and did not match the amount of rice provided. Overall, the portions were extremely small for the price and thus not value for money.
All in all, a horrible experience.

β β β β β Excellent wagyu bowl with a reasonable price point given the location and the quality of the beef. The beef was seasoned just nice without being too overpowering. What stands out most was how the service staff was able to be friendly during crazy lunch crowd.

β β β β β This is my first time stepping into Waa Cow! Retail. Iβve been ordering their Beef Bowl since pandemic and itβs always a treat to share this with the family.
After todayβs lunch, I walked away more impressed with them. The taste I get from eating off their Kraft-packed bowl is similar - god knows how they manage to keep it fresh and warm.
The Wagyu beef slices were tender, beefy and packs a punch with the torched flavour. We had chicken and waffles fries. The truffle sauces were the same which made it abit of a downer - thought it would be something different.
The price has increased by a bit - which is ok given the current challenges worldwide.
For sure we will keep ordering. Keep up the good work!
