Wayneston Studios is the place to go in Singapore for all things Teddy Bear related. Wayne the owner is an extremely talented bear maker who loves to share his passion with others. He is very proactive, running workshops and classes and the annual Teddy Bear and Friends exhibition/show. Wayne is always ready to help other artists and is very encouraging. The shop has every tool and material that you could possibly want to help you create your very own one of a kind teddy. His enthusiasm for his art is catching. Once you go and do one of his workshops, you become a member of a large friendly group of makers, who share and promote the craft. You’ll always be made welcome at Wayneston Studios, whether you’re there to buy materials, take a class or just dropping by for a chat.

Wayne is a great instructor, patient and ever willing to share his knowledge and skills. The materials that he supplies are of good quality at reasonable price. He is a great artist not only in teddy bear making, but other animal creations too. Wayneston Studio is clean with good lighting and ventilation, a lovely place to pick up new skills or to have a peaceful comfortable place to sew your own teddies.

I first attended Wayne’s workshop last year and could tell at once this is a Master Craftsman at work. His method of teaching and coaching is creatively encouraging and with the right quotient of humour. The environment is fun which we (the friends I’ve made here) thoroughly enjoy. Being a novice in bear making, everything was new to me but Wayne is so patient in unraveling the magic in it. I also attend the sewing circle where there are a few of us who meet regularly at Wayne’s studio . It is a day I really look forward going to where we are all relaxed and having fun while we sew our furry creations.

I enjoyed my lessons at Wayneston Studios. Highly recommended! Wayne’s needle felting workshop is truly a creative space for anyone. Wayne is really patient and clear in his teaching, would provide advice for us to achieve the looks we wanted, but ultimately was focused on making the best out of our preferences and creativities. Whenever I have a query, I can always get Wayne to give me simple and easy to follow instructions and demonstrations. It was a Sunday afternoon well spent getting to exercise our creativity freely, without judgement, in a relaxing homely environment. It was really fun doing needle felting at Wayneston Studios and sharing with one another about life and other interesting topics. With zero experience with needle felting and able to earn some unique self-made bear as a result, that really encouraged me to feel proud about my work. I really missed the fun at Wayneston Studios, I was always looking forward to his next lesson ! Also, although the official time frame of the workshop was about 5 hours, there was no rush or haste to push us along or for us to complete quickly or leave his premises at a fixed time ? I would definitely recommend this class to anyone who would like to try their hand at needle felting ! Thumbs Up ? Wayne !!

It is a great place to spend a lovely weekend or holiday? I attended this bear workshop a year ago. All materials used here are in top quality. The teacher is a real bear artist, extremely friendly and patient. I did learn a lot from him. Highly recommend it to those people who love teddy bears and creative handcrafts. I found Wayne through sheer chance in Instagram. Instantly fell in love with all the artisan bears displayed and was immensely pleased that I met a kindred spirit who shared the same passion for teddy bears. Long story short I attended a two-day workshop two weeks ago and was astounded by Wayne's sheer attention to details, thoroughly shared experience and honesty in teaching me his craft and expertise. Wayne, you are inspiring artist and I hope to do you proud in developing my own skills in teddy bear making. Last but not least, Wayne is a very understanding and patient teacher to a beginner like me. Kudos to you and Wayneston studio!!!! Highly recommended teacher and teddy bear artist!!!
