β β β β β Was expecting thick creamy laksa soup but disappointed with diluted broth with a hinge of prawn soup (since they sell prawn soup noodles too). The prawns were neither fresh nor tender. The shredded chicken meat were probably the only ingredient on average. Maybe because of the missing cockles, the taste cannot be replicated (cockles were out of stock for 10 days when I visited)? Would probably need to try again then. Otherwise, this is just an ordinary bowl of laksa.

β β β β β My favourite laksa in town! Q mire than 45?minutes today, crazy!
The sauce is awesome, clean & savoury which words cannot describe. I guess they do not add in so much coconut milk. Noodles are cook just right. Fresh ingredients, chicken, prawns & cockles. $8 for this bowl is definitely valued for money.
The uncle is always friendly.

β β β β β Good laksa more of Ipoh style with chicken meat and prawns in a light broth. Smallest bowl now retails at $4.00 but itβs a generous portion.
Will you wait 60 minutes for it on a Laksa? Most probably not but there is always a queue, went there on a weekday at 545am and there was also a 10min queue.

β β β β β Truly the gem of the laksa dish in Singapore. Simply the top notch overall in terms of taste, quantity and price.
For the sad uninitiated folks who complains about the lack of thick gravy, please head to toast box or EAT for your coconut milk laden laksa because thickness does not equate to flavour.

β β β β β Queue was long! Visited at 7am and had to wait 15-20 mins before placing my order.
Laksa was great! Broth was extremely rich and tasty. The prawn noodles on the other hand was quite disappointing.
Portions wise was okay, priced very economically.

β β β β β Heard alot about this stall inside Tanglin halt food centre that is famous for their laska and prawn noodle. Apperantly they always have lomg queue and usually sold out quite early. Happen to be around the vicinity and decided to check out the place myself.
True enough, spotted a long queue upon reaching the food centre. Queued for a good 20mins before it was my turn to order. The prawn noodle was already sold out by the time i was there. Laksa prices starts from SGD$4 onwards. I had combination no.3 which comes with prawns, cockles and taupok.
Kinda dissapointed with the gravy to be honest. Was expecting a thicker gravy but it was quite diluted. Taste wise, it was normal, not that i am willing to queue for it.
