Wellfond Pets - Katong

We got our toy poodle from Wellfond (21 Jun 2020) and had a great experience. Ryan was the staff that served us and he was really nice, patient and answered all our questions. Does not try to upsell excessive products (which may be good esp for new owners). He even followed up with us via Whatsapp on how the puppy was doing 1-2 days after she came home with us, also answers any questions we have. Very thankful for the great service :)

Got my maltipoo from Wellfond Katong and was assisted by Jovi, who was very patient with my questions and concerns even after I’ve brought home my puppy. Gave very practical tips on his grooming and diet. Am glad to have found my puppy at wellfond. Very sweet temperament and simply adorable!

Special thanks to Ryan who was very helpful and patient. He answered all our queries and was also available during late hours to answer our questions. He also updated us regularly with videos without us asking. It has been a month since we brought our puppy home. Our puppy is well behaved, friendly and healthy. Ryan is honest and upfront regarding the puppies’ conditions and costs. Ryan gave us sincere advice; we are first time dog owners so that we are well prepared for our puppy’s arrival.

Purchased a toy poodle the start of June 2021. The customer service was great and they gave thorough explanation since its my first time having a dog. However, my pup started coughing when he's home and I thought he just choked on his water upon drinking too fast. The following week when i brought him for his final vaccine and told the vet about his cough. After which, he was diagnosed with infectious tracheitis (a kennel cough that is airborne and he got it from other dogs in the pet shop). Its been a month since i got him but his cough did not go away and I have brought him to the vet 3 times so far. I mentioned it to Wellfondpets Katong but they mentioned that they aren't able to do anything about this and that they aren't liable for it. They also mentioned that any pet shops in Singapore are bound to have a dog coughing and it is very very common. After this incident, I wished i would have spotted his cough sooner and brought him to the vet immediately. Its really painful seeing him take so much medicine at such a young age and cough everytime he wakes up from his sleep/nap. I really pray for my pup's recovery...

Store assistant are friendly, but they made a big mistake. The dog we're find of is 8 months old, but they told us it's 6 months. Was wondering if a dog at 8 months would cost less than a 6-month. Anyway, the dog we got was super good, so no complains. Just that we may be paying more than it should be charged.

Very friendly staff ? perfect place to get a dog if you got zero knowledge about keeping one

We were looking for a puppy addition to the family with hypoallergenic members and have always loved dachshunds. We visited Wellfond for a doxiepoo. When we visited, we could tell that the team genuinely cares for the puppies' wellbeing. Jovi, who attended to us from the start to end, went the extra mile to provide reassurance of the puppy's character and background information. The team, especially Jovi went the extra mile to take great care of our puppy while we were waiting for her to come home. Even after getting our puppy, Jovi was always there for us in case of any queries at any time of the day, and gave advice for puppy care and always following up on our puppys' wellbeing. The puppy's temperament is amazingly gentle and such a joyful addition to our house. It shows that the first 3 months at Wellfond was the perfect environment for her growth. Kudos to the team! :) thank you for the cute little fella who brings so much happiness to us at home :)
