โ โ โ โ โ Terrible experience living here. The staff treated everyone inconsistently. They wouldn't give us our mailbox key, saying that they would check it every day for us. They didn't, and as a result, one of my roommates had a package get sent back to his home country, wasting a lot of time and money. The rent we were charged was higher than other people we knew living there were charged. The utilities were way higher than other properties nearby. There is only one entrance and you have to show your ID card to the security guards (who are usually in a bad mood) to get in or out. Feels like a prison. We moved out one month before our three month contract was up because it was such a bad experience. Definitely would not recommend.

โ โ โ โ โ One of the worst places to stay in Singapore.
They said they would clean the apartment every 2 weeks, but they didn't. They said they have $100 cap for utilities bill, but they still charged me because I have different contract but didn't tell me. They charged for furniture fitting when we asked for contract extension for $140, which practically they didn't do anything.
If you have budget for $1250 or more per month to live in Singapore, find other place. It's really not worth to stay here. They use fingerprints at the gate which also not always working and the security staff just blame you instead of letting you out the building. Guests has to sign on guest book, and no visitor after 11 pm.
Really, I warn you all.

โ โ โ โ โ This hostel is nice to stay in the past. The environment is beautiful. But, lately I notice Baygon (insecticide) smell in the corridor outside my room especially at night. Very dangerous substance. I think I'll leave this hostel soon.

โ โ โ โ โ Clean & well maintained but a pretty old structure. Must be at least 40-50 yrs since it was first constructed. Can get noisy with a mix racial profile of tenants living and playing at the courts there as well as the buses and trucks which come home to roost in the late evenings. Convenient though for food & supermarket within walking distance plus a neighboring masjid. Buses ply through aplenty taking commuters to MRT stations of Jurong and boon lay.

โ โ โ โ โ The evening security guard here is especially unhelpful and unwilling (or lazy?). If you are visiting here, I'd suggest to defer your trip to the daytime hours (when the staff are more professional) or arrange with your friend to meet elsewhere.

โ โ โ โ โ Place with lots of nosies. The 2 buildings at the front are just less than 20m away from the parking field. And this parking field is laden with heavy vehicles. So just enjoy the huge noise of the engines starting at 6 am till 9 pm! And with obsoleted architecture which has a style of 1970s, the soundproofing is horrible. You can always hear strange sound from various sources.
The facilities are obsolete and not functioning from time to time. Imagine a ragged lift that can only stop at 2 levels of a 10-storey building.
Also very unattainable and unprofessional staff there. Ironically you have to pay them for the so-called admin fee for their bad service.
