★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Customer service/ Cashier at Changi airport terminal 1 is rude, and unhelpful. Purchased a couple of books a magazines for my travels on 18.9.2019 in the afternoon at around 4-5pm
I had enquired about whether magazines fell under the promotions and deals that WHSmith was offering, the cashier he/she (gender neutral, or gender agnostic) responded with a weird pause, looked at me and sarcastically said - magazines are not books. As if I was an uneducated costumer, and even if I was that is no way to answer! Total weird vibe.
So if he/she was trying to pass off as a Queen, I’d say he/she has failed fantastically!
I hope that the branches’ manager looks anc checks into their staff’s attitude. Definitely not a good touchpoint especially in the airports where you have thousands of foot traffic from visitors all over the world.
Inexcusable!
