Whampoa Nan Xiang Chicken Rice

The owner is a friendly aunty always have the smile on her face. The chicken was tender and served with generous amount of sauce if you ask. What distinguishes this stall from the rest is the fragrant rice. The rice was fried once before cooked, giving it an extra flavour that entices your nose bud before you even eat it. Great experience.

Hainanese poached chicken was tasty, texture was firm and tender, skin was thin and not too fatty. Chilli sauce one of the better one, unlike those factory made used by majority of chicken rice stalls. Rice was slightly damn, but could be I was early but overall experience was great! Another plus is definitely the warm and friendly lady boss, Nancy! Definitely come back again!

This is one of the best chicken rice shop in Singapore and it is a must try chicken rice. Also long term customer here to be more specific... Rice - 10/10 (has the rich flavour to it) Chicken - 8/10 Soup - 8/10 Chilly and ginger - 9/10 Best time to visit it morning 11am it's damn hot hot and fresh fresh just you can feel the flavour so good. The aunty (owner) is really kind.

Everything is good except the rice which is not hot at all. I don't expect the chicken to be hot but at least let me have it with hot rice. Worse thing, the lady boss told me nothing wrong with rice not hot. No one complaint before.

So apparently I dapao roasted chicken rice home for my mum and me to eat. The portion is very very generous but after we eat, the chicken turned out to be very smelly and don't taste like it's freshly cooked. Very friendly auntie but then the chicken was very smelly.

I love their chicken rice. The rice has rich chicken aroma. More on oily side. It is a gem

Super friendly service from the Aunty! Asked for a "upsize" and look at the portion she gave me for rice! Other place would give maybe 0.5 portion more. But she gave at least 1 and 1/4 portions more! I'm the kind of person that eats chicken rice for the rice. The rice is damn solid. Cooked really well, can feel each grain as I'm eating. Roast Chicken is really good too! They roast the chicken slightly more resulting in a darker skin, giving it better flavour and certain parts like the winglet thingy is crispy!
