lady ordered $3 item and gave $50, staff gave $7 back and claimed customer only gave $10, when opened cash back and saw the $50 customer gave infront of everyone's eyes, claimed it wasnt given until witnesses in queue pointed it out, after that staff was like "sometimes also can see wrong what"
dishonest and rude staff trying to scam customers money infront of peoples eyes please do not patronize.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The taste, quality and quantity of their soya bean curd are very consistent across their outlets: fresh, smooth, soft, tasty, filled generously to the brim. After walking 30 minutes, the tubs of soya bean curd (1 half-eaten, 1 untouched with red beans) arrived in good condition. The big red beans are cooked to the right texture for me: soft but not mushy. $2 for about 420g without the lid: very value for money and so tasty. The leftover kept overnight in the fridge maintained its taste and consistency: no wastage and I can have the option to eat it cold the next day.
Despite 1 other stall selling soya bean products in the same hawker centre, the queue can have more than 10 people, with some buying in big quantities. The service at this outlet is quick but without a smile. Tip for smoother ordering with the auntie: state upfront eat here or takeaway, then state the number of the item you want.
After trying other brands, I always come back to Whampoa for its consistently good quality. The lady boss I happened to bump into at their Bugis and Eunos outlets is very friendly and receptive to my honest feedback. Their social media reply is prompt and polite. Definitely worth supporting!
