Best Restaurant in Singapore

c	colin craig on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great concept for Singapore , especially for wine lovers from Australia that are adverse to paying exorbitant prices at restaurants in Singapore for decent wine. Here the concept is dine at back of the bottleshop with great wines under $40 . Same quality of wine is double or more in any other restaurant in Singapore. The selection is immense here too. Food choices are broad and safe bistro fare . Nothing spicy or exotic appealing to broad middle ground of diners and families. Would be good to have some local selections such as Malay and Singaporean noodles. Anyways, a new staple for our family!
R	Royal Pears on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoyed the set lunch - good garden salad including two types of olives and sun-dried tomatoes, four cheese gnocchi, and pinot grigio for just $21.90++. From earlier visits: - Enjoyed the medium sweet Casa Defra Pinot Grigio, which was just S$6 for a glass. It went well with the Four Cheese Gnocchi (Gnocchi with Bleu D’Auvergne, Mozzarella, Parmesan, Saint-Nectaire and spinach), which was reasonably priced at S$16 for the quality of cheeses. The 125gm burrata was good too though it was a bit mushy inside. - The moules frites was a disappointment. Although there were lots of mussels, they seemed to be of the frozen type.
Y	YY on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wine Con is easily one of my favourite place to go for affordable and quality wine. Been here a couple of times and love the ambience here. Excellent service from all the staffs and store supervisor. This place can be really packed on a Friday night so do remember to make your reservations early! ????
A	Ankori on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A cozy corner with indoor and outdoor seating . Attentive friendly staff. First visit we go for the starters . The Serrano ham was a bit dry not rich and buttery but still taste fine generous portion. Black mussels in white wine sauce was fresh and we love the creamy sauce. Eggplant parmigiana was perfect but the portion was only enough for one ? the escargot was a disaster , burnt bitter herbs on top chewy and slightly burnt snails below. The lamb cutlet was juicy and tender I would recommend medium or medium rare will be better. Wonderful cheese platter and accompany by Zontes footstep chocolate factory shiraz from McLaren Vale complete the night.
M	Mummy M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1st time there intro by a friend. Wide range of food. We ordered many but was happily chit chatting and forgotten abt the pix! Salmon pizza and platter was great.. the rest of our food were to our satisfaction as well. 5 stars for food and the staffs service there!

Lunch set price is more worth it compared to their ala carte (includes a cold drink, main course pizza or pasta and salad). Pizza is the thin crust type. It's tasy but I still find it quite ex. Not something I will go regularly, but once in a super blue moon.
K	Kiko on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cooked food like gambas was way too salty, go for the can't go wrong items like pizza, cold cut and you will be fine. Of course the winning item is the economical priced wine, $30+ will get you a pretty good bottle of red. Service was adequate.

Could place an order on the phone, not much interaction with the server, food is not too bad, the fries taste like fish and chip batter, and the set lunch is value for money. Ordered two set lunches, one kid's meal for three adults and one kid. Will come back again.
