★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Managed to get a freshly pressed Grilled Cheese sandwich ($12). It was all good with Gooey stringy cheese and tender mushrooms sandwiched between crusty sourdough toast.
Good ole cinnamon roll ($5) was rich in spice and quite dense. Portions huge and great for sharing.
Chocolate praline hazelnut brownie $5 - fudge-like and crumbly, topped with lovely toast whole hazelnuts. Just get it, you wont regret it.
Chocolate cookie had a chewy fudgey centre with a hint of saltiness ($3).
I have tried the 3 Bialy-s ($5 each) and they were good. Chewy bread base and stocked with loads of ingredients. My personal favourite is the Mushroom Bialy.
Treacle tart $5 - delightful pecan and treacle base. Like Christmas.
Schoko Schncken $5.50 - Big cinnamon roll top with gooey chocolate ganache top and centre with chopped hazelnuts in the folds.
Visit the store early as their popular items do sell out fast. The overall theme for their bakes seems to be on the rich and strong flavours. Friendly staff!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A good variety but the more popular items sell out fast during the weekends. Highly recommend their dark chocolate cookies and hazelnut praline brownie. Giving 4 stars as I think some of their items such as tea cakes (~$5.50) and sandwiches (grilled cheese for $12) are on the pricier side.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heard about this bakery from "hearsay" and today, chanced upon them while I was around upper Thomson area. Place was cosy and staffs were very patient and accomodating in explaining every single pastry and ingredients used! Pretty impressive array of ingredients used! As the ame suggest, sourdough is the pinnacle. They make small batches of sourdough, thus expect the worthwhile wait!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love to drop by, despite their early closing hours and long queues because their food is damn good!
Would recommend you to try any of their sourdough bread (sandwich/loaf) and it’s super rich, filling and yummy! I also enjoy their cold brew coffee whenever it’s available :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely sourdough bakes. Though there's always a queue, the staff were also patient to allow me to decide on the bakes. The sourdough pastries were very fresh and moist even when air frying after 2 days. Do come early.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great sourdough bread, very fresh and flavourful. Each bread can probably serve 2 persons. Very moist and still taste great when you toasted it after keeping in freezer! Be prepared to queue though ? and it’s best to bring your own reusable box along to store the bread as the ones they provide are rather flimsy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located at Thomson area. Famous with their sourdough but unfortunately we didn't manage to get the sourdough. Since we're there wecided to try their cake and their toasted cheese bread. Taste very super super sweet for the cake and super super salty for the toasted cheese bread to my taste buds. Maybe for next time I'll get the sourdough instead.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On any given morning they open, this little nook sees lines along the block with the scent of fresh bread wafting through the air.
Everything here is made with sourdough in some shape or form and boy do I enjoy their savoury bakes!
Most of the regular patrons will come away with a loaf and some goodies but if you're here only occasionally, I really would suggest getting everything! The sweets come in some very delicious sounding flavours and the sourdough discard in them along with what is suspected to be rye/spelt or some kind of more wholesome grain, convey a much mealier, complex flavour.
The bialys are by far my favourite, get all the flavours to try, you won't regret it!
While the spread of baked goods and rack of beautiful brown loaves at the front are tantalising, try to be there for their specials. Sandwiches, plates, salad and even doughnuts or pizzas! I've had so many a fulfilling luncheon with these treasures!
Bring a bag with you for your goods, they give you a little discount for that! Also, try their cold brews and definitely, definitely the iced chocolate, it's every chocolate lover's dream.
