β β β β β Agree with Brandy Coke. My unpleasant experience with a staff member was at the Novena branch on a Mon evening.
Was still deciding whether to get a salad bowl as a number of ingredients had run out by then. Hence, at my turn, I just checked if kale was still available, since the container for it was empty. the staff said yes, so good. But I saw that the container for sweet potato was also empty, so my next qn was 'Did you still have sweet potato?' (if kale was still available in storage, but nt replenished, there was an equal chance tat sweet potato would be the same). To which I was abruptly interjected by 'Having here or takeaway?'.
I think, having been a former service staff member myself, customers do have the right to ask all the questions they need to. Many times, that's absolutely essential as we need the info to decide whether we want to buy in the first place (ie, we're nt asking for fun) . So not only was the staff curt, but basically depriving customers of the chance to obtain the necessary information we need.

β β β β β I was meeting someone in MBFC, and thought I'd try this new coffee place besides your usual Starbucks or CBTL. Quite like the decorations and how it's youthful and inviting on the outside, reminding me of Australian cafes and those in Bali.
Unfortunately the interior of the cafe not as much. It's a little small and very echo-ey, and with the queues and chatters, coupled with the sounds of the coffee and grinder machines, makes the whole place very unconducive for meetings or working there. Would come here just to grab-and-go the next time, or if I'm desperate for a place to sit; if not, will not dine in next time.

β β β β β Writing to feedback on a cup of ice chocolate I bought from my office building in Fraser Tower.
Bought an ice chocolate on 26 September with great disappointment that the ice chocolate taste more milk than I could taste the chocolate.
I'm not sure if it were the usual standards of how your ice chocolate is made? Or purely is the lack of sop in this brunch?
I spent a 6.5 excluding tax to receive this kind of taste, I have no choice but to go back to my office and add some more MILO powder to my ice chocolate from Cedele, while doing so, I'm asking myself why do I have to do this but in the same time I didn't want to waste the whole cup of drinks.
Great disappointment.
Please review your own brunch sop again.

β β β β β Love the food but slightly pricy for me. Avoid the crowd to go early before 1230pm.

β β β β β Best coffee and hot chocolate in MBFC. I come here every couple of days when I need to take a break. The staff are super friendly and always remember me and my order.

β β β β β I was biased towards the idea of this because itβs by Cedele, and Iβm their number one fan. But at $12 for a barely filling salad, itβs frightfully expensive. There are better options around - either with tastier or bigger portions. I Guess this we pay a price for βasian/middle eastern foodβ.

β β β β β Edit: Iβve been going back for the past few weeks and theyβve been giving decent portions now. Food is great, definitely one of my favorite health food options in the area.
Used to eat here quite often as the quality of food is good. When I went back to try it again recently, the food serving has become extremely small. I ordered the power bowl for $13.80 and chose chap chae for the base. The amount given to me was probably only half a rice bowl serving and the server had to intentionally spread out the base to cover the (already smaller than before) lunch box.
Since I wanted to have a heavier lunch, I asked for more chap chae which was an additional $2 and to my horror, the additional $2 base only got me HALF of the initial serving. So in total, I couldnβt even get a full rice bowl serving of base for $15.80.
I asked the server if I could have more base as it was really insufficient and Iβve even added $2 for extra base, and he said the $2 base is meant only for half the original serving. But he did give me a slight additional serving of chap chae after that.
Really hope they can be reasonable with their food portions as the quality of food is still good.
