Fernando has improved remarkably for his English paper 1 since joining the Punggol branch early this year. Even his teacher is surprised at his enthusiasm towards this subject.

My boy enjoys the classes and the teaching method. It is structured but very creatives. Not just about writing. I can see the stark difference in the composition written, kudos to the Writers Guild Team! Special shout out to Miss Sylvia who has coached my boy well.

I actually joined WG last December, and I recently topped the class for S1 compo (38/40). Writers’ guild actually motivates me, because every week there is a fun topic which gets me interested. Huge thanks to Teacher Joshua for helping me ace my exams. He also teaches us some good techniques, like AER or WOWFATB. I thoroughly enjoy all the lessons, even if the lessons are boring, Teacher Joshua still makes it fun! Writers Guild has a sound and effective system to teach children how to write well in a fun and entertaining way. I am very glad that I enrolled both my kids in their programmes and I can see the improvement in the way they develop their story ideas. Very thankful to Teacher Jing Ling and Teacher Hazel for their patience and guidance with my kids. The teachers are able to sustain the students' attention by using games and rewards to make writing fun and interesting. This was also achieved when the teachers had to adjust to teaching via Zoom which was really a challenge but they rose to the occasion and created lessons that kept the children attentive. The centre works hard to listen to parents' feedback to improve their programmes and tweak them to meet the needs of the students. Thank you to all the staff in Writers Guild for making writing fun for the students!

Teacher Wen Hee is friendly and approachable, my child enjoy going for her weekly lesson. I have noticed she has put more attention to the details in her compositions now.
