Writers' Guild Learning Centre - English Tuition Yishun Mall - #01-401

From the way the lesson crafted, writing techniques till the detail marking which I find the Writers' Guild team put in a lot of effort in planning. Thanks to Ms Hazel guidance, my boy enjoys his weekly lesson at Writers' Guild very much. He likes the interactive games which can build up the class interest at the same time also relates to the composition writing topic. I am glad to see him applying the techniques taught to him in his recent school assessment. ?

My daughter joined one year ago after my neighbour recommended and it is still her favourite class. She was on the waiting list for 4 months and it was worth waiting. I am so relieved that now I no longer have to force her to learn compo phrases. I like that the curriculum is very well-planned and she does not have to bring back any spelling lists or compositions as homework. My daughter’s school teacher also commented about her huge progress and even asked where she learnt the writing techniques from. My daughter told me her school teacher even taught the techniques to the class after asking her. Writers’ Guild is the school for any parent who wants their children to have fun learning English!

My daughter’s English and Composition have shown significant improvement after few months of joining Writers’ Guild! She enjoys writing in school now, applying techniques learnt at Writers’ Guild and even feels more confident of herself. She enjoys the classes here with Teacher Dennis. He gives very constructive feedback about my daughter’s progress too. I have referred two of my friends’ kids and will continue to do so!

My daughter, Vernice(P6) & my son,Ethan (P4) has shown great improvement in their writing skills. My daughter can achieve 34 marks & above (1st range of score for both language & content) for Writing now & her prelim exam Vernice's past result was much lower especially before joining Writers' Guild and she often received feedback from school teachers that her language and structure need improvement. Hence, she had low self-confidence. After she joined Writers' Guild, her English has been improving consistently. There was a huge improvement since she was in P5. Recently, her school teacher gave them a weekly class composition test and she did very well. Her school teacher share her composition writing to the class and complimented that it was very well written and she scored marks in the first range for both language & content. Ethan's school teacher also commented on his recent composition writing "very well" written & share his writing to his class. Now, my daughter & my son are very happy and overall more confident in the English language of course reading story since is a must as well. We are both grateful to Writers' Guild. I am thankful to have enrolled my children in the right centre to learn the special writing technique. I would like to thank Teacher Safiqah & Teacher Bhavna, Teacher Lyn's, Teacher Jing Ling who teach Vernice and Teacher Dennis who teach Ethan. With their guidance for such great improvement in my children's English and Composition. I'm also thankful to Teacher Trinity's encouragement. I find that the way Writers' Guild's teachers mark the composition is very detailed and beneficial. I would say marking is their speciality! Thanks Teacher Lyna for your this month extra lesson given to them for every week & treat all kids the tea break. Vernice very happy & enjoyed the lesson with you. Also would like to thanks Ms. Amber, she always deliver her excellent services with patience to me when I need help especially during CB period.?

I am glad that I have signed up my daughter for Writer's Guild English class and she has obtained A for her PSLE result. My boy has also joined their Composition class. I was so amazed how much he has learnt and used the techniques in his exam. The tuition centre developed very useful in-house materials for the students and the teachers are very supportive. They constantly update the parents on the child’s progress and ask for feedback. Highly recommended English tuition centre!

My girl learned a lot of writing techniques after joining Writers' Guild. She is happy and looks forward to go to the class each week. Highly recommended Writers' Guild if you are looking for one to improve on your kid's writing skills.

Teacher Lynna has been very dedicated in teaching the composition framework and good phrases for gaining good merit points. Fun and effective learning have been placed in the weekly class, and it is always the day looking forward to immerse in the classroom filled with laughters, joy and inquisitive learning. Learning is never dry and exhaustive. Patient and effective guidance have groomed tremendous confidence in writing, and thus lead to continuous venture into chapters of creative blending of words, phrases, setting of interesting characters and dialogues in composition. A happy student has led to happy learning and good scores!

Signed my daughter up for the writing class since June 2021. Teacher Jing Ling made the lessons so much fun. Since then, her writing tremendously improved and so is her range of vocabulary. Definitely recommend anyone's child who needs an extra boost for English writing.
