WF coffeeshop is a significant upgrade from the previous. Coffee and tea is so much better. Loving the Shoyu MeePok from the new MeePok stall. Though it is slightly $$ your bowl of MeePok will be filled with lots of ingredients.

Other than the chicken rice and noodle stalls, nothing else is good here. Coffee is bland. Economy rice stall operator has a fcked up attitude. The worst is there isn't a tze char stall. Can u believe any neighbourhood coffeeshop doesn't have one?

Newly renovated neighbourhood coffeeshop with CBD pricing. Duck/chicken rice are from old coffeeshop with increased price after renovation. Taste are always inconsistent as usual, it’s up to luck if wanton would be fresh. Sometimes meat have a lot of bone and little meat. Western food price is reasonable, big portion and good taste. Cai Fan is CBD pricing and super oily. Normal 1 meat, vege and egg can cost up to >$5. Even if you choose the most normal range, can cost >$4. There was once I had to use 3 oil papers to suck the oil from tofu but it is still dripping oil. Minced meat noodle above $5. Japanese fusion mee pok $7 but nothing too special, I suppose more expensive because of cha Shu. Cha Shu taste normal and not marinated , unlike what was commonly found in Japanese ramen. Only tried the kway chap once. Kway chap was served only slightly warm, intestines etc don’t taste like it is cleaned well.

There are 2 people working at the economic rice stall, one that wears the cap(A) and the other that does not(B). If you are served by A, you will get treated like a customer but be prepared for small proportions of food for the overall expensive pricing. If you are served by B, you do get more proportions of food but at the expense of receiving treatment lower than a dog as you are berated for not conveying information like what dishes you want to eat as quickly as possible to him (even though you are the customer). So either way, you lose out and should not ever patronize the stall if possible. I did hear that they operate as a tze char stall at night but I doubt a mixed rice stall can do that as good as one that focuses on tze char. Plus, majority of the time, B would be the sole operator of the store, may this fact be part of your judgement of whether to visit the economic rice stall next time :D
