★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty good Hokkien Mee that could do with more pork lard and wok hei. Other than that, I would say it’s very good standard and good enough for me to eat it often if I am staying close by!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good plate of hokkien mee with wok hei at the 644 Hougang Ave 8 kopitiam. Surprise that it comes with thinly sliced pork belly, which is omitted at many other more established hokkien mee. Sambal can be improved as it is spicy but didn't add much to the dish.
They have a buzzer in case there is a long wait. For me, the buzzer rang almost as soon as I sat down at a table, during a weekday lunch, shld have just informed me to hang around for a minute.
Appreciative young owner/cook with good attitude. Well done
