The chef was friendly and even provided a complimentary appetiser not on the menu. The unagi set we ordered is the full eel without the set. The unagi was really tasty and stayed hot throughout the meal. Will visit again.

Dinner started promising, as the 3 tiny servings of starters was so delicious. Each item was served warm almost like it was made to order - would have been nice to get a second serving. However, the disappointment came when the main course was served. The Japanese eel while fresh was a bit too tough & chewy, my friend and I even joked that the eel must have been doing some serious workout as it feels muscular! The upside about the dish, you can add your own sauce according to your taste - original, sweet or spicy. Definitely not worth the price as the portion is small, and will give it a miss next time I’m craving for unagi.

n	nellious on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An unagi lover like myself can not miss a new unagi specialty restaurant like this. Hence, here I am. Keep in mind, they also have a sushi and sashimi menu which is a plus. Ordered the full Japanese eel rice ($78), they steamed the eel before grilling it so the texture is tighter and meatier. The soy sauce on top of unagi is so tasty and hit the perfect balance. Also the rice is just too good to not mention here. It’s not a huge place so you better make a reservation before going in. Chef was super thoughtful and friendly, this is the place to go when you want to have some great quality Japanese dishes. Will definitely come back.
