Only a few pieces for the chicken cutlet that cost $6, not worth it!

Terrible. Eating the salted egg calamari is just like chewing a rubber band.. is so hard.. their so called crispy chicken cubes is in big chunks n not crispy at all. Used to be your regular at junction 9 outlet n the food there is so good. Will never patronise your store again. ?

A typical Taiwanese eatery located in B1 of Sembawang Shopping Centre just besides Aston’s. Had tried the take out version at Thomson Plaza before but this branch had dining in facilities. Ordering is done at the counter and pretty much everything else is self service. Food and drinks are served in take out containers and you will have to look for your own space in the dine in area. The oyster mee sua is pretty good here, thick, gooey, flavourful and with fresh and plump oysters. Pity that there’s only 2 oysters in a serving though. The sour and spicy ramen soup has a peanut taste and comes with la mian but overall could do with a slight kick to the spice level. Others worth to try are the Taiwanese tempura and fried mushrooms. Tempura was done just right and the soft batter inside the crispy skin is so yummy. Mushrooms are moist and soft behind the crispy exterior, which was a good treat. Can’t say the same for the fried chicken cutlet though, which held thin and very dry meat. One surprising thing is that the fried dishes are not soaking in oil and pretty light. Makes it less guilty to be eating these sinful pleasures. Other items like braised meat rice sets, noodles, pancakes and more fried stuff are available. They also have a selection of milk teas too. Pricing is reasonable for a heartland shopping mall, with most food dishes between 6 to 8 dollars. Self service also means there’s no service fee to the bill.

Tried the store at bedok mall. Brought tempura and cutlet. Terribly cooked. Cutlet taste like there is oyster sauce and its dry. Crust is thicker than meat with a layer of gluten. Its really bad. Tempura was deep fried but the inside is still frozen... feel like im eating some tapioca kueh not tempura. Staffs were black face ,unfriendly and moody too. I paid like $12 its expensive too.
