★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you missed home and want that childhood type of home cooking lunch with family kind of atmosphere, this is the place to home in for. Newly renovated. Bright, airy, clean. The perng-chai (rice+vegs) coffee shop gives you st least 30 varieties of dishes. Try their slow cooked Soup of the Day $2 per bowl. Literally if you're on a diet, not too hungry or in a rush, the delicious soup plus one rice will keep you whistling through the teddy of the afternoon! Inexpensive home cooking taste and priced like home!
There's a chicken rice store at the other end of the same coffee shop. Be prepared for a queue of at least a dozen hungry lunch time crowd. Chicken rice balled up with tender juicy chicken at $3.50 a plate wint disappoint. Photos follow if I can attach them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Carrot cake is very good, porridge is nice but seller is very slow, so the Q is always very long. Vegetarian bee hoon is delicious too. The mixed vegetable rice stall has very good 咕噜肉。I like to drink coffee but their coffee is not good, hope the stall owner could review their source. In the evening, western food is value for $ and taste good too!!
