★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In sheer exasperation, I am writing a negative review to get a response from this faceless, unresponsive, and unhelpful organisation. I have been trying to get help with registration on their eshop so I can make online purchases, but I have been directed from one department to another, I have faced staff at a physical store who are incompetent and unknowledgeable on resolving my technical issues, and I have made calls to people who do not pick up the phone.
It is a far cry from my teenage years when my first few gear purchases were strictly Yamaha, and I was a proud owner of several Yamaha instruments. I will now never recommend Yamaha to any aspiring musicians or my guitar students.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We started here when my son was 4 years old. We were lucky to meet a nice young teacher, not perfect but meets our expectations, her singing is lovely and she doesn’t scold, so lessons are enjoyable.
