The food is fresh and tasty... The food is value for money and the service is good... The menu don't have Gong Bao Beef but they made it for us.... But we recommend that you have to come early such as 5pm.... Or else you won't get such service.

Have heard that this place is extremely popular, and decided to give it a try. Sadly, there were more misses than hits. The best dish in my opinion was the Thai Style Fried Bee Hoon ($10) as it came generous with fresh ingredients and the noodles were pretty well wok fried! There was abit of wok hei and it was flavourful. The Hor Fun was pretty normal, you can give that a miss. The Cereal Prawn ($26 for medium) had pretty sizable prawns that were fresh and sweet. The cereal pieces were addictive! Please do not get their pre order platter, as it was way too expensive for whatever that was given. Only rather cheap ingredients were given and we were charged $124 for just that platter ? and what's worse is the appetisers were not even good... We ordered other dishes but they were not worth mentioning anyway... I guess I will probably just come for their bee hoon then!

Damn legit good zichar. Best zichar In Singapore. I would definitely come back again with my family and order more dishes. They are unique in their dishes and every dish is well crafted and well seasoned. I love the lobster cheong fun! The lobster is very fresh and the flesh of the lobster is very full! Very worth it. We love every pet of this dish The soy and egg steam fish is awesome too. Nothing to fault in this dish. The egg is really smooth and the fish is very fresh and cooked well too! The Chinese wine ginger chicken is so good because they really grate a generous amount of ginger to pair with the chicken.

Gave it 2 star as they let us wait for over an hour when we had preorder the cny pencai a week ago. We reserved a table at 12pm a week ago. But we only received food after 1pm+. And this was after prompting them for many times, staff kept saying 10mins more, 20 mins and etc. As we had paid $100 for the deposit we had to wait for them to serve to food. We had also need to prompt them to serve our other dishes first, when the staff and chef insisted all the dishes must be served together. Other tables who came after us had eaten and left but we only have empty table with no food. Although they did do a service recovery by giving a free dessert. The dishes tasted was okay nothing to wow factor thou. Most dishes tasted just salty but no fragrant sauce

Having heard much of its fame, I was very excited. The menu is large, albeit a Chinese restaurant. During lunch, a full crowd was observed so a reservation is highly recommended. Steamed Garlic LaLa - Large sized with plentiful of garlic. The LaLa was clean and rather plump. Soy sauce was good. The garlic somewhat lacks the flavor, probably pre-minced. I would have preferred some deep fried minced garlic to enhance this dish. Toufu with preserved radish - This was a winner! The tofu was well flavored of its soya and the deep fried preserved radish was addictive. Steamed Baby Squid - Good texture and fresh. Not much different soy sauce base to the LaLa. San Low BeeHoon - One of their signatures. Well executed with generous amount of squid, large prawns and pork. Service is prompt but don't expect kindness or helpfulness with the dishes. 29 May '22: A return visit to Deep fried baby shrimp was an excellent dish. Crisp and fresh with crustacean flavor. Not on menu. Chicken with minced ginger was listed as their signature. Minced ginger was slightly thickened and pack a punch. For some reason, this Order of half a chicken was all breast and no thigh. Felt like a rip-off. Toufu with preserved radish was past favorite and we reordered. Consistently good. 3.5* Bill was $43. Service was a dismal. Don't think there is a compelling reason to be back anytime soon.

Bit of a hidden gem but from the crowd on a Sunday evening, not so hidden. Went here for one of the signature dishes of lobster with chee cheong fun and it was amazing. Whatever that sauce is, it really compliments the dish and ends up being a full dish on its own. The only down side I saw here was the lobster meat was a bit hit and miss. Had 1 fat one and 1 skinny one. Also enjoyed the Chinese sausage fried rice but that's more of an after thought.

Can’t believe I only just discovered this gem of a place. The food was really good (seafood was fresh and cooking style was ?) and I’ll definitely be back soon! ? Pictured: - Andrew Lobster: This lobster chee cheong fan was really unique and yummy! Recommend ?? - Salted Egg Crab: This was really good as well. The shell felt crispy and I suspect they fry it or something, which made the texture a bit different from other restaurants. Recommend ?? - San Lou Burn Bee Hoon: Very tasty and loved all the ingredients inside. Small was definitely NOT enough. Recommend ?? - Nyonya Sotong: A very popular dish, but I felt it was only alright. Will try other dishes next time! - Spicy Sauce With Clams: A very popular dish, but I felt it was only alright. Will try other dishes next time!

Crowded seafood restaurant. Great ambience. Lots of seafood varieties. Better to go with a group of eight to ten ppl so that you can order different kinds of dishes to taste. I like their baby squids and rice noodles. Yummy!
