Tried their rice stuff and thumbs down, decided to give their noodles a try. Instant letdown. I guess this is not my cup of tea. Some like some don't like.

Had takeaway from this outlet. Price was very reasonable, similar to cai png stall. The pork belly was tasty. Staff were friendly too.

I ordered the most basic noodle dish, taizi noodles. Everyoneโ€™s taste differs so this review reflects on my personal opinion and may not be an indicator of what your personal tastes. Noodles: Texture doesnโ€™t become mushy like most noodles when ordering take out. This is a big plus. This also means that noodles have that โ€œQโ€ bite that most typical HK noodle shops have. Minced meat Taste: Itโ€™s not on the salty side, neither is it sweet, or sour. I would say that it has a good balance with all 3. What it could do better is maybe a little more fragrance from sesame/onion oil, but thatโ€™s my preference. Value for money: For $3 a bowl, the location and the amount of ingredients, itโ€™s worth the money. Service: Friendly and willing to listen to feedback from customers. Verdict: Will return to try other dishes. Itโ€™s tough being a hawker in the current situation. Keep up the good work !

Newly opened branch that is quite unusual. Itโ€™s not wanton mee but still very tasty noodles.

Accidental gem at Bishan. We ordered 2 bowls of the Tai Zi Noodle (minced pork belly version) and their Nagoya Drumlets. Verdict: Noodles was thin and really Q, super bouncy texture and each bite makes you want to eat more. The flavouring was just nice, not too salty nor sweet. The minced pork blended really well with the noodles, and the portion was just nice and generous given that itโ€™s only $3! it was comfort food and gave us the homely feels eating it. Tip is to add the chilli flakes to elevate the taste of the dish. We will definitely go back to try the other Tai Zi Braised Pork Belly Noodle (sweet version) or as and when we feel like it! Drumlets: it was really crispy/crunchy on the outside and tender inside! The sauce was special (reminded us of marmite), it was bitter sweet and reminded us of Kyochon Chicken!
