Was craving for ayam penyet ...was browsing thru food panda and feel was a bit ex so went online and checked and found Yes! Nasi KuKus as the place is near to where I am living decided to drive there less than 10 mins drive. No too crowded at the time when I was there think abt 2pm... Bought No 1 chicken, rice,achar for 5dollars Mutton ,rice with achar 6.50 Fish,rice and achar for 6 dollars Price is right food is tasty Rice was yummy. Thks for the honest review my friends.

Short walk from MRT My goodness, look at the juiciness underneath the skin. I would say pretty incredible for a stall to fried a chicken to such level. The chilli was nice too. Unfortunately, i reached there at 3.30pm. The chicken was no longer warm, it didn't taste as good as it suppose to be and the crunchy fried flour had harden. I would like to revisit this place again, but during lunch to evaluate it. I'm sure i will add more stars then

The chicken meat was TENDER and Juicy.....The Gravy is very very nice. Same goes for the sambal chili.....

TLDR: If the server is a chinese fella don't buy. I frequent this stall weekly since a year ago as the taste and portion has been consistent UNTIL today. Went in the afternoon around 1pm to 2pm on 12th July 22, server was a middle aged chinese dude. Server did not could not even bother to open his mouth to ask for order and just stood there and stare at deliveroo order while not moving. Ordered a set 1 takeaway and opened it at home to see this miserable mess. For reference, chicken breast/wing(?) given was less than half a fork size. Even the rice is more than the meat given. In contrast to previous orders where portion was reasonable, readers can take a look at the pictures tagged to this tall for a good guage. Only seen this server the first time on my visits here, really ruining the reputation of a good stall which survived through the circuit breaker period. Would like to seek the owners to check on this guy's standards and attitude before he bring down the stall's reputation

Portion is very generous. Got side dish too. But chicken is very normal(on the dry side). Would not mind trying again.

Nasi (rice) is amazing, fried chicken (when they used fresh chicken) is outstanding, mutton is soft, fish is fresh and crispy and slightly chewy, even the hard boiled egg was nice (that's hard to do). Sambal fantastic. Amazing quality even in a take away. That speaks alot about the heart and skills of the chef. Can't have enough words to describe the love and efforts put into the food. Thank you chef!

Ordered their steamed rice fried chicken set and added on some curry mutton. I really loved the steamed rice. Every grains were soft with fluffy texture, and it absorbed the curry gravy really well! ? For the fried chicken, you can actually request either the drumstick or breast, I did not make any request and I was given the chicken breast, which is actually my favourite chicken part. ?? As for the meat, it’s soft and tender, the crispy crump bits was very nice to eat with the rice too! ? Curry mutton was not bad, big chunks and soft. The chilli sauce was very tasty too! I made the visit at 11am on a Sunday. Thankfully there was no queue because everyone was lining up for the Chinese roasted meat… ?? And btw, they also accept cdc vouchers.
