Awesome!!! You gotta try it yourself to believe it. Everything is just right! Rice is not hard, and can eat the “rice cracker” if you scrap hard enough, Chicken piece is soft, salted fish aplenty, Chinese sausage is soft and comes with crunchy vegetable…. A hearty meal indeed.

Chicken and lupcheong were tender and properly seasoned. Could use with a little more sauce. Would recommend mincing the salted fish and mixing it into the rice.

The claypot rice is @$14 for 2 pax which is quite reasonable to us. Loved the rice as it is not too oily. The aroma is slightly different from other claypot rice though but okay for us.

Very delicious chicken claypot rice. The smallest portion (for 2 people) comes with generous amount of well toasted crispy rice that is filled with black sauce, boneless chicken, chinese sausage, salted fish bits, and steamed vegetables. When mixed well and added some extra black sauce, the rice mixture is so delicious and yummy. I'm not a big eater but I devoured 2-3 bowls of rice easily. Highly recommend! ??

Minimum order for 2 pax at $12. Order and tell them your table number - they’ll serve it to you once ready. Waited for at least 15 minutes for the food which isn’t unexpected for claypot rice. Tender, well marinated, boneless chicken meat, two types of Chinese sausage, salted fish. Would have been great if there were more greens. Flavourful rice. Crispy burnt rice at the base was beaut. Be warned of the accompanying chilli dip ?- spicy with a kick that will make you break out in hot sweat while eating this piping hot dish in Singapore’s sweltering weather!

My first time time ate from this stall. Here's my breakdown of my review in 3 areas. 1. Food quality. I'll give a 5. Very good rice texture and well cook that was just right. The chicken meat was tender and well seasoned. A few pieces of chinese sausages and 2 small pcs of salted fish were buried inside. A few pcs of chye sim vegetables were there but could have been more. The best part is the DIY to mix and stir the whole pot after dressing with some oil and sweet black sauce. You can decide how much flavour. The burned rice at the base and side was awesome. Very charred and crispy. This is the most important part of claypot rice for those who love it. 2. The service. Here's my observation. There were 2 men inside busy with the cooking. Doesn't interact much with customers. An elder lady was taking orders from the queue. I can see that she is those systematic type of person. She followed step 1 to 3. 1. Tell her the order and table number. 2. Pay the amount when she ask. 3. Let her prepare the bowls, plates, chopsticks, spoons, chilli sauce into a tray then she will pass it to you before you walk off. Here's the thing. If any of the sequence is interrupted caused by customer she will not be pleased and gets agitated. She will show it on her face and will tell you off. My advise is just leave everything to her and don't try to self service and being nice to push her the money before she request. Her attitude may seems rude but it all depends how you look at it. Yes is important to have service with a smile and as customer we play a part too. I gave a 4 star for service. 3. The price. There seems to be conflicting stated amount in the review or did I miss out something? The amount for 2 persons I paid is $14. Some reviews i read indicated $12. Anyway $14 for 2 is reasonable. Ok, if you are first time trying this stall, go for the food and experience yourself.
