Not too bad to satisfy a fried hokkien mee craving. Ingredients for the FHM includes shellfish, pork and prawn. Uses the thin bee hoon and sambal chilli. Unique taste but does not have the wok hey smell and taste of fried hokkien mee. More of the wet type of FHM

Food is decent BUT guy with expanded ear holes was rude as hell. Used to come back it this guy really ruined the experience. Just saw other reviews with similar experiences as well.

Avoid this place at all cost. My wife was harassed by the pigs in the store. They refuse to give my wife her orders so they can hold her at the stall and harass her further with their disgusting behaviour. Nothing special about this stall. Unless you support this kind of pigs and their behaviour. Don't let you wife, gf, daughter, mom suffer.

This is located in Yong Soon Cafe, a coffeeshop in Hougang Central, just beside Midtown. Famous for Hokkien Prawn Mee and Oyster Omelette. Carrot cake is so so. Oyster Omelette is crispy. Hokkien Prawn Mee is not bad. For $5, you get 3 prawns, pork slices, fake abalone slices (quite a few pieces), with white beehoon and yellow noodle mixed. I personally prefer the wet version with lesser beehoon, but this version is not bad also. I like the combination of ingredients and it's actually considered quite a lot to me. Also like the chilli. It's quite spicy and more importantly it's wet. Which suits a wet dish like hokkien prawn Mee. Would come again!

Ordered the HKM ($5) and Fried Oyster ($5). HKM had a flavourful broth and I love that it was slightly on the drier side after we dabaoed (the noodles absorbed the broth and was rly flavourful too). Chilli is like the Nasi Padang/ Ayam Penyet kind, slightly watery but got enough kick. Don’t recommend to mix in the whole amount of chilli because it’ll probably be too spicy ? Personally prefer thick noodles to beehoon but this was pretty good and the abalone elevated the taste so okay la can accept the noodle to Beehoon ratio ? The fried oyster was fried thick and wasn’t crispy; a bit on the starchier side. Still acceptable but there’re better ones out there. The chilli was not bad though.

$5 fried oyster has 5 sizeable oysters, not too oily but lacks fragrance of a good fish sauce and can be more crispy. Busy stall with a buzzer system. Guy taking order looks like he did not want to be there.
