★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The mixed grill and chicken cutlet are my favourites. Mixed grill for the hungry folks who want a bit of everything. Chicken cutlet is crispy and well-sized. Sometimes the staff can be loud, but then these are all young energetic men who work hard to serve the crowd. Just enjoy and appreciate the good food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Large portions for the price. I enjoyed the gravy. The sides, mainly the coleslaw and the garlic bread were lackluster. Coleslaw was bland. The garlic bread was flavourful but not substantial. The chicken grilled perfectly. It was tender and juicy inside. The chicken skin was a hit or miss. It was generally crispy but it was bitter because of how charred it was. The overall atmosphere was what made this dining experience special and particularly comforting. Would definitely return to try the black pepper chicken. Hopefully the sides and chicken improve in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Once a 5 star western food stall but sadly standard has dropped tremendously. The sauce is too starchy n the you get a sliver of beef, lamb and chicken chop. You get lots of frozen carrot cubes, green peas, corn n onions to fill the bottom of the plate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decided to go with the steak, despite knowing it could be a hit or miss. Turned out pretty decent for its price point ($10 nett). Every item on the plate is flooded with black pepper sauce, so if you like your heat, this is for you. Remember to order your steak one level of done-ness below your preferred, as it gets cooked on the hotplate on its way to you.
If you're still doubtful, just go for their cutlets, pretty much fail-safe!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dinner crowd was too overwhelming when I passed by one of the days. Since I was around the vicinity during lunch, I just had to go for it. Lesser crowd for sure, but still quite a bit of waiting time. My first visit and I must say the Black Pepper Chicken is really awesome! Chicken patty itself is quite thin cut, would be better if it's slightly thicker. Saw 2 grannies had a few chicken wings to themselves & it looks good that we had to order for ourselves to try. It was a tad too salty for our liking, although it's nice but I don't think we can eat >1 piece each. Perhaps grannies had rice with it that complement the taste. Personally find the mixed grill (mutton meat) has a weird taste.. but I guess that's just my taste bud. Will I be back? Yes! I'm in love with the black pepper sauce!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered the mixed grill. Quantity is good but sad to say quality of the meats are subpar. The sauce tie too much and has huge trace of MSG. meats are also not fresh. Not recommended to be honest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Charges 6.50 for chicken chop n chicken cutlet. Generally, market price. Portion is adequate. Chicken chop has way too much breaded with loads of fatty meat. Fries r freshly fried and warm. Salad is almost like KFC, without the onion after taste. Good service as they deliver to your table. Waiting time is fairly noticeable but maybe its because they got alot of orders. Overall 4 stars for a 5 star corner western. Not 5 star enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had been eating this old school style Western food back when I am studying at HIHS and when the chicken chop cost less than 6.50. I can say that the standard of the food had drop quite drastically over the years. But I do encourage you to come and try it out if you're around the vicinity and judge for yourself.
