Note the owner has changed since covid started in 2020. The food taste is blend and taste average.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chance upon this newly opened eatery and decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised by the variety and price of the dishes.
Ordered dumpling (10 for $5) which was nice, skin not too thick or thin, filling not too salty. Fried cauliflower $8.80 was so flavourful and fragrant. The signature dish fried pork chop (cannot remember the name) was crispy and well balanced with sweet sauce. Highlight was the grilled fish in Chili oil which was selling at a discounted price of $16.80 (up $22.80 I think). Fish was fried till crispy, then grilled in very fragrant chili oil plus some lotus roots and potato slices.
They have free flow option for some drinks, not sure how that works but my barley water just keep coming.
3 pax ordered 1 veg, 1 fish, 1 pork and dumpling plus 3 barley, total cost $50.90. What a good deal! Will definitely return!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delectable authentic chinese restaurant cuisine at pocket friendly prices! Tried this place after walking past a few times and saw crowd on Friday and weekend nights.
I enjoyed all three dishes that I ordered! The grilled fish had the right amount of spiciness and saltiness, lots of vege, beansprout and beancurd skin inside, stir fry vege in garlic was fragrant and the 饺子 was flavourful.
Snow brand beer only $4.50 and do try out their imported Wahaha yogurt drinks to cool down from the spices!
No GST nor service charges, staff were friendly and accommodating, free wifi even. A hidden gem in Macpherson!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We chanced upon this restaurant. Its a sweet surprise! Great value for money! Food is above expectations. The chicken+pig stomach soup is excellent! 水煮鱼 fish fresh and smooth! The menu is very extensive. Will sure be back to try other dishes!
