★ ★ ★ ★ ★ YR Industries Pte Ltd is a laundry company that is wholly a subsidiary of SCORE, the government statutory board that helps ex-inmates return back to the society of their incarcerations.
Despite it being a local company, there are more Malaysian workers than Singaporeans. These Malaysian workers travel to and fro JB and find this company a not-so-bad company to work because it pays them the same salary as the locals (from $1250 basic + $200 attendance and performance allowance per month). The other laundry company in the same area paid Malaysians lesser than the locals.
