Nice duck rice from Yu Kee and you can smell the duck rice immediately once you get near to the shop. Nice option for a quick lunch.

*Note: I have shifted this review from one year ago as I had posted it on the wrong Yu Kee thread* Stepping into this place is like stepping into a unethical spa with many salespeople pressurising you into making the wrong decisions. I love eating Yu Kee Duck Rice, but I will NEVER step into this outlet again. When I first tried to make my order, they immediately suggested I get half a duck and other expensive items, which would turn out to be more expensive than ordering individual plates. Given that this is a common tactic, I just ignored their suggestions and went ahead with my order, though they still continued to press me to add-on different kinds of meat. Next, when I returned to order extra peanuts, which cost $1. The big guy encouraged me to order $2 instead. Ok, I agreed since it's a small amount. Finally, when I returned to order extra meat... I asked for extra meat for 2 people, he told me that it would cost $12. $12 i is MORE EXPENSIVE THAN TWO ENTIRE PLATES OF DUCK RICE. After some negotiation... I don't even understand why I needed to negotiate to buy less meat... He agreed to sell me $6 of duck meat. He claimed that I was unable to buy any less. Guess what? The receipt clear stated 1 x add meat $2, 1 x add meat $2, 1 x add meat $2! I was obviously scammed by this bunch of bullies who thought that I was easy to fleece. There were 3 of them at the counter, and like a gang of thieves, they were singing in the same tune, and targeting unsuspecting customers. I am not sure why they were behaving in this manner, whether it was the management's orders or they just wanted to push for sales. And even though it was a small amount, it was a very unpleasant experience.

Located at the basement of Century Square and the eating area is quite small with just a few tables. Anyone walking by will be super close to the tables. The cleanliness of the area was bad - there wasn't anyone clearing or cleaning up the tables. However, the food was prepared fast and tasted good.
