★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite disappointed with this place. Tiny room, no space for your bulky luggage, comfort room needs maintenance, staff/receptionist do not stay on their reception area. Good thing I only stay for a night.

The hostel part is located on the first floor in the Great Madras Hotel. It is made up of 5 pods, where the bed takes up more than 90% of floor space and it is hard to move around or access your bags. There is no sound proofing from other pods, it’s basically a dorm room. It is extremely loud at night with music from the street, so it was impossible to sleep (music was going past 4am).
Would not stay here again. Wifi did not reach our pod but worked in the lobby.
