I was pleasantly surprised to find this little treasure of a shop in Katong V. This place had such a variety of goods (like a proper Mom & Pop shop).
They even had old lightbulbs that the chain stores never carry. The owners were super helpful and fun to chat with. Whats more, they have interesting little things that no other hardware store would think to have in stock. Lots of good finds!

I entered the store wanting to buy some hardware supplies and when I got a little confused between the two products and the guy just started shouting and getting angry at me! He was like don’t you go to school? Do you know how to read? “You obviously go to school so you should know how to read. Stop asking so many questions and read properly” was his exact words. I felt so shocked at that moment I didn’t know what was I say. When someone comes to your store to ask for advice you should help them not get annoyed and angry. Have actually been going here for a while but never encountered this guy. But definitely not going back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a great little hardware store that carries a lot of DIY items. The best are the friendly and knowledgeable uncles who are happy to share tips as to how to fix things in the house. Had a blocked drain which didn't clear with the usual decloggers and they helped me and saved me some time to arrange for a plumber to come.
