โ โ โ โ โ I have been cutting with Rena for a year plus now, and finally decided to do my first-ever perm with her. I went home after the perm and was a bit puzzled why on one side of my head was an S curl, while the other side was a C curl that flipped outwards rather than inwards as agreed. So both sides were not even, and didnโt look anything like the picture I showed her and asked if it was achievable (she said yes). As itโs my first ever perm, I didnโt know itโs not normal. Until I went to another senior hairstylist at another Korean salon for a trim, because Rena was fully booked. That stylist told me that my perm was done poorly, it was overcurled and uneven. What frustrates me is the perm plus hair trim at Zinc cost $350, and yet the result was so far from what I wanted. For that price, I would expect the perm to at least be somewhat symmetrical, and grow out well. Instead, within a month of that trim and perm, hang hairstyle has grown so heavy-looking at the bottom, I had to tie it up to look neat.

โ โ โ โ โ I have been to this salon for few years and many great stylists whom I ever booked for hair services indeed left the salon. However, recently I found my favorite stylist and her name is Elin. She is a senior stylist at the moment :) When the first time I met her, she didn't speak much as she was still new... After few times appoints her as my hairstylist, we start to chit chat longer. She is very attentive to her work, she will spend 1 hour just for haircut and I am very satisfied with the result. I have recommended her to my 3 other friends and they are satisfied with her hair services too.. Thank You Elin and see you again...

โ โ โ โ โ Clean, modern , professional Salon, I like the hair cut by the Salon Director ( Nicky ) and have got my hair cut 3 times here. Will try to have the hair colour next visit

โ โ โ โ โ Probably the worse salons Iโve ever visited. Bad advice given by stylist. They left the hair straightening solution in my hair for too long causing my hair to be over processed. It was an nightmare to watch my hair breaking as They comb it. Furthermore, they still charge me the full service. It was an unpleasant experience. I had to cut my hair short in another salon and a couple of sessions of keratin treatment just to fix my hair.

โ โ โ โ โ Today I went to Zinc salon again. Nicky has been my hairstylist for the past 5 or 6 years. I have slight natural curl hair so abit messy. The way he cuts and layered my hair will reduces it. He dont use thinning scissors and I realized my hair stopped having split ends even if I permed and/ or coloured my hair (maximum twice each chemical treatment on the same part of the hair). Previously, I always have split ends from other salons' and they will use thinning scissors to layer my hair. Another thing i like about Nicky is he is polite and he will say hello then ask how i want to have my hair cut then he will focus on cutting my hair, no chatting. Personally prefer hairstylist dont chat with me, i can enjoy my time there. Lastly, he never tries to sell me any services or products all these years :)

โ โ โ โ โ Stylist is patient and nice but did not spend many time to discuss with the look I would like (maybe I said only would like to trim a little). The final result is satisfied.
Really love the salonโs decor and vibe, music is great as well.
