Average BKT but only 1 refill is allowed. The staff came with the refill can and didn't even pour all the soup in even though there was still room. The other zichar dishes are decent though. You'd get better service and quality for other BKT around the area.

The place is good for late night supper, the claypot chicken rice is pretty decent. Zhi Char there is good too. One stop for your late night prawn noodle craving too. Would definitely recommend you’ll to try the food there.

Food quality here is not too bad! Love the herbal style bak kut teh! Quite deep flavourful herbal strong taste. They offer pork slices only for those that prefer your meat to be boneless. Vegetable are served fresh too! Will recommend to drop by if you are within the area!

I liked most dishes here. Tried fish head curry, pepper crab, pig stomach soup...etc. Only the soup was too salty for my preference.

The bak kut teh soup can only be refilled one time (with very little volume only) but didn’t mention anywhere (please can you write in the menu or somewhere so maybe I won’t even bother to visit). Food taste is not so bad but not worth the price and the rules, don’t visit if you like to have more soup like me, quite disappointed.

Considering 9.50 .. is a bit expensive ,on a high side... The prawn noodles is also at $6. With 3 prawns . Then prawn soup is on the spicy side.... The claypot BKT.. The pork rib is a bit bland.. with no taste... Soup.. don't really have the herbal taste....

Went to 188 Cafe because it was close to where we were purchasing our bathroom accessories. The cafe caught our eye because of the different offerings they have. It ranges from bak kut teh to prawn mee soup to small bites, each having a different nostalgic flavor to it. Even though the menu is fairly priced; I do still think some items are ridiculously expensive. For example the vegetable dishes that they have are $20 each? Kind of ridiculous to me! We ordered a "White Pepper Pig's Stomach Bak Kut Teh", priced at $12.50. Surprisingly, there were only two pieces of bak kut teh meat and the rest were all intestines and pig's liver. I just wish there were more pork meat to enjoy and this will be a great dish. It was also a bit spicy but that was because of the pepper in the broth and it was still bearable. We ordered "Bean Curd Skin" and "Preserved Salted Vegetable", both priced at $4 each. I would say both dishes were pretty salty but that might be because we did not order rice. I think these two dishes will be delicious with rice. We ordered a "Prawn Mee Soup"; however, I do not recall the price of it. It was pretty tasty; however, it is a little bit too spicy for my liking. The spice was from the broth itself and I wish it was separated so we can add the chili according to our liking.
