★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Found this gem last Saturday by chance, one look at the old uncle and decided to try out their coffee. Never regretted it, full bodied, smooth, never bitter, not too sweet but pack a punch. This asian barista has got skills.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Freshly ground traditional coffee available here. There is a bean grinder in the stall, something you normally see at cafe (think Starbucks). Love their coffee here. Rich aroma, smooth and not overly charred or bitter like the other typical coffee you find elsewhere. Ceramic cup too heavy though... needs strong hands...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This stall was set up a few years ago (correct me if I am wrong) and if you blink and you will miss it if you didn't read the sign board in chinese words which people like me who is born as a banana will ignore if not for the smell of kopi that caught my attention. Ordered a kopi with 2 eggs and a traditional kaya toast with butter and there was no set in the menu but total up to SGD3.50 only which is pretty reasonable price in the city area especially in Maxwell Food Centre. The kopi is one of the best so far with fragrance and good balance of sweetness but it really depend on individual's taste bud so no harm to give this a try. One more thing about why I give this a 5 stars rating is that the aunty or lady boss was so kind and honest to me when I am about to received my toast and told me that the orignal toast was so small that she made double for me for no extra cost. That make me smile and a happy customer for a early breakfast meal ?. Will definitely recommend this stall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Since Smith's Street Chinatown Hawker Centre outlet, this Michelin Hainanese Coffee has been my go to place for a nice Cuppa. Their coffee has a great charred fragrance of smoky, thick coffee. Zero sourness or over stretching the base coffee. Expertly executed. Right balance. Kopi Siew Tai, best enjoyed at this breezy and clean outlet, within 10 minutes while it is nicely lukewarm

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a must try! Very affordable at 5.30 for everything in the pictures. Friendly staff that kept the counter very clean.... interesting detail. The bread tastes great, so does the coffee. It was not bitter and the butter added a nice nutty flavour.
One of the better Kaya toast places you can try.
