Hidden gem in choa chu kang. Transported back in time. Handmade chee Cheung fun is a fusion dish - texture is a bit like HK style, sauce has Japanese dashi, and chilli is almost Indonesian. Somehow they go together very well. $4 for egg CCF, a tad more expensive than usual. Service is friendly. I noticed that some waited very long for mee hoon kueh. Overall will definitely come back again for breakfast. Wish they had a menu so I could see what other CCF flavours they had at a glance!

Came here on a Sunday morning for the chee cheong fun. Top notched service from the lady that we suspect that she may be working in HDL in the evening. Not a fan of ccf, but my mum gave good rating for this. $4 each plate, freshly made in the kitchen. Definitely head over this place to try if you’re living in the west.

The broth was very gooey due to the starch. The Kueh was excellent, thick and chewy. Manis veg was generous with canned and shitake mushrooms. Anchovy was lackluster but the meatballs were well seasoned. 4* Lots of flies which is unhygienic and irritating 3*

Pleasantly surprised by this unassuming coffee shop. Neighbours recommended the place for fresh handmade chee cheong fan so we tried them. It is opened for breakfast so better go there earlier to get more selection on the fillings. When we got there at 10.30am, they are only left with shao rou (roasted pork but not char siew), prawns and eggs. 2 rolls per plate, you can have a combination of 2 different fillings. Texture is v soft and silky, with fried shallots and savoury sauce and chilli. Absolutely yummy. Each plate is about $4+. Business is good and be prepared to wait at least 20mins. Saw some folks eating the mee hoon kuay which might be good too but we didnt get to try. Theres a pretty decent prata place next to the coffee shop, also v underrated. Good flavourful curry, prata is more fluffy chewy than crispy. Will be back for more!

One of the best chee cheong fun I’ve eaten (and I’ve eaten a lot) — smooth, silky, savoury, generously filled with 料 and almost melts in your mouth ? Portions are very filling too! I always order 2 portions when I’m there; one to eat on the spot and another to takeaway for my next meal. Truly a hidden gem ☺️ The couple behind the ccf are also super passionate and even recommended me other good ccf places to try out too! What a rare and heartwarming sight to see hawkers supporting other fellow hawkers ? do give their ccf and roast pork (I heard it’s good too but I haven’t tried before) a try, it’ll definitely be worthwhile!

Very good made-upon-order chee cheong fun! Your choice of crunchy prawns, egg, minced meat or char siew wrapped in smooth, slippery, translucent rice sheets with a silky umami sauce and a chilli that commands respect! The breakfast for champions!

Visited this place on 2 May 2022 at about 9.15am, wanted to try the chee cheong fan but was not opened. So we were left with no other option but to try the only food stall that was operating, the home made noodles. This is an "old-school" style of shop front similar to those commonly seen in Malaysia. The outlook of their noodles seems to be traditional style. However, the taste of the dry-noodles was disappointing without the fragrance of pork lard and other seasonings. It just tasted with strong vinegar and little savoury taste which was way too far off from the expected tradition dry-noodles. To make thing worse, the waiting time was absurd! There weren't too many people on the day of visit but was made to wait for an hour. I saw one person cancelled her order frustratingly after the long wait, even after the stall attendant apologised and promised to serve her next. According to my observation, the stall attendant chose to serve their regular customers or people whom they know with priority. Those who came later than us had their food served before us. You might get your food faster if you make a fuss. To round it up, I will not patronise this stall again even if the wait is just 5 mins.
