Came across this while walking along Joo Chiat, decided to give it a try. Ordered the beef option, price wise super affordable ($5.50 for beef). The bread is great! Crispy yet soft at the same time. Was worry about all the chewing I had to go through. Was hoping the pickled veggies are a bit more wet. Nonetheless, will definitely try the other protein options. Small place, don’t think you can eat there. Just for takeaways.

Authentic banh mi, tucked along a row of shops. Fresh ingredients, and love the combination of the ingredients. Ordered a traditional banh mi, great crispy exterior for the baguette and fluffy bread that was not execssively chewy. Iced coffee was enjoyable, especially on a hot day.

Banh Mi for me is a humble snack. Vietnamese use their own form of a French baguette that comes out to be airy and pillowy inside. Stuffed with pickled vegetables, spread of pate, lil mayo, savory meats, chilies and of course the aromatic herbs. Is an explosion of different flavors in your mouth. This spot in Joo Chiat does it right. Every time I’m around this area I always make sure I grab one or two to go. This time we went with traditional and bbq beef. First time trying they BBQ Beef and it was tremendous, might be my favorite from the bunch. The crunchy pickled carrots, daikon and cucumbers with the sweet and tart flavors goes very well with the beef. The aromatics herbs of cilantro and chili for me sends it to another level. Love that spice that sometimes catches you off guard. In some bites there’s no heat while in others there is, is not consistent in every bite but I kinda like it. Aunty energy here is through the roof love it!

Tried this banh mi place in joo chiat. All the staff are vietnamese so it's very authentic. Ordered the traditional pork banh mi and was served in under 5mins with a few people in the queue before me so it's a pretty quick service. The banhmi is nice and crunchy with the normal meat fillings you would expect.

Nice banh mi. Not the best one I had in Singapore, but definitely one of the better ones. Bread is crunchy outside and soft inside. Like it’s supposed to be. At 6 sgd, very reasonably priced also. Place is very small, does only take-out. Go and try it out!

Fresh and delicious Bahn Mi. The baguette ? is light and fluffy and crispy. Have tried a few different variety and so far, the Beef is best for me. The meat is generous and the pickles vegetables is fresh and blended nicely. 4 star ⭐️ because price is a bit higher compared to other good Viet Bahn Mi around town.

Tasty and totally worth your money. The beef option was best so far. The meat was tender and tasty. The bread was crispy on the outside, just right. The chicken + pate option was good too but beef is better. They use fresh ingredients. Cutting veg and fried the meats in the shop. Do eat as soon as possible for best experience.

Fresh ingredients for the beef Banh Mi which is great. But taste is rather tone down compared to the one I had in Hanoi. The ice coffee has nice aroma and comes with default less sugar, a healthy option. Generally a healthy simple takeaway lunch.
